OOTD | May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground

Hi ladies, I hope you had a great Easter! Mine was spent working, of course - the perks of being an assistant manager! - but I still enjoyed the holiday, I cooked a nice supper for the family and everybody enjoyed my vegetarian quesadillas - I will be posting the recipe on the blog soon!

I had a great night with the boyfriend recently - we were overdue for a date night so he brought me to Le Picasso, which is a very cozy and romantic BYOW Italian restaurant in St-Eustache. They offer tons of vegetarian options - yey! - and I opted for the Penne al formaggio di capra, which is probably one of the most delicious pasta dish I have ever tasted, but they served me Penne carbonara instead - can you imagine my surprise when I found pancetta (fancy word for pig belly...) in my dish! I almost ate it since the lighting was so dim, I could barely see what was in my dish...anyway, that aside, I then had their oreo cheesecake for dessert - yummmmmmmm! - and we ended the night at Goudale, a local restaurant-bar, where I tasted a delicious earl grey beer!

My grandmother gave me these leggings recently and although they are not warm enough to wear in the winter, I figured out they would be OK since we were going to be inside anyway, and I really like the gold studs - I think they spice up the whole outfit! A friend also gave me that white tank and I am so happy with it because it fits incredibly well and it is long enough to allow me to wear leggings with it! I sompleted my ouftif with my beloved H&M cropped jacket, of course!

I have been wanting a double finger ring for so long so when I spotted this Oversized Glasses Shape Metal Ring on ROMWE for $12.99, I did not hesitate to get it in Golden! I absolutely love the vintage look the worn trace provide and the faceted rhinestone detailing is just gorgeous!

FOTD + OOTD: Tell me what you want so we can do just what you like

I recently started working as a sales person at a clothing boutique at my local mall (I won't discolse the name here, I don't want any problem, but if you really want yo know, you can tweet me) and I love it so far, it's very different from my previous jobs but I'm always up for new aventures and challenges!

The employees have a dress code to follow and I'm actually enjoying having to get dressed up for work - and we are also required to wear lipstick or lipgloss, which is cool because I don't have lots of occasions to wear lipsticks and I have so many! Friday, I received the ring I bought from a shop named Plastic Couture on Etsy. I love this website! Even when you aren't looking for anything in particular, something will catch your eyes. Not to mention that it's nice to support handmade arts and crafts.

I bought it for $7.50 USD ($5.00 + $2.50 in shipping fees).

If I remember right, I bought it on May 2th and it was shipped on May 3th. It took around 2 weeks to arrive.

I finally got my grades today! I'm happy, I think I did pretty well!

Sorry for the bad quality of the screenshot, but overall, I got nothing below B! Yey! I must mention that I'm surprised though, because I didn't study that much... Sunday is the day my mother and my little brother spend driving around to make my brother practices for his driving exam, so to make the most out of this, they stop at shops where my mother needs something. I like to go with them sometimes, as my mother and I like to browse through Dollarama, drugstores like Jean Coutu, Shoppers Drug Mart, Uniprix, Brunet and sometimes, Wal-Mart and Giant Tiger. Today I finally found some cute flats (I've been wanting new ones since the end of last summer!) at Wal-Mart and I also needed anti-slip pads for one of my pairs of high heels.

I love the design! And they were only $15.

The anti-slip pads are made of gel. They costed $5.98. I needed them for those shoes:

I love them, but the heels is so high, my feet always slip to the front, and it makes my toes hurt! I hope those pads will solve the problem.
