FOTD: Make me your radio, turn me up when you feel low

I realized that I rarely reach for my Wet N Wild Coloricon eyeshadow palette in Lust. It is truly gorgeous, but I find the all of the shades pretty dark for everyday wear. Also, I always have trouble blending the matte shades.

I decided to give it another try today, and I think I have found the trick to make the eyeshadows look less intense: after applying and blending the purple shades, I dusted a little of the shimmery brow bone shade in the middle of the lid - it softens the overall look and adds a pop of radiance.

FOTD + OOTD: Tell me what you want so we can do just what you like

I recently started working as a sales person at a clothing boutique at my local mall (I won't discolse the name here, I don't want any problem, but if you really want yo know, you can tweet me) and I love it so far, it's very different from my previous jobs but I'm always up for new aventures and challenges!

The employees have a dress code to follow and I'm actually enjoying having to get dressed up for work - and we are also required to wear lipstick or lipgloss, which is cool because I don't have lots of occasions to wear lipsticks and I have so many! So here are my FOTD and OOTD for my second day at work.

I bought this a long time ago and I must admit I rarely used it. It's basically a clay mask to me (despite its fancy name) and it did nothing special. You could buy a super cheap clay mask at the drugstore and it would work just as well.

Repurchase: no because as far as I know, you can't purchase this mask separately (it comes in a duo with the Deep Clean Purifying Face Mask , which did nothing for my dry skin)

☑ Fruits & Passion Orange Cantaloup Foaming Bath

Smells nice in the bottle but almost nothing once poured in the bath. Very average foam that lasts about 10 minutes. Disappointing for the price.

☑ Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care (30mL)

I think this did left my hair softer but I can't really tell as I always use a leave-in conditioner after washing my hair anyway. It has a nice thick texture though!

I got this a loooooong time ago when I became an Avon rep as reps have access to amazing discounts and this was included in a special mark. starter kit. I use this every morning as a toner instead of washing my face with soap because it's so dry, but I don't feel it really did something for my face. I'm glad I finally used it up!

At first, I fell in love with this scrub because of its amazing smell and because it's so gentle... but after continuous use, I realized it did nothing for my skin... and it started to make the area around my mouth burn! Maybe I have an allergy to something in this scrub?

I was so surprised to come home from school and to discover a huge box from Purolator... with my name on it! I looked closely and noticed it was from P&G. It must be my new products to test and review for the Smart Beauty Buys panel (from P&G)!

My Avon order + FOTD + tutorials (2)

Yesterday night, around 5:00, I heard knocking at the door, and my brother told me I've recieved my Avon order! The thing is... I placed it like two days ago! That was quick (=

I've always hated the way they pack our orders. It's so messy and unprofessioanl!

They didn't even included a brochure this time! At least, there's the mark. one...

I bought Advance Techniques Daily Results 2-in-1 anti-dandruff shampoo & conditioner for my boyfriend, because for around 2$, I guessed I could give it a try instead of always buying the pricey Head & Shoulders one.

Moisture Therapy Intensive Treatment Extra Strength Cream for extra dry skin was also on sale and I thought it would be good for the winter.

I've been eyeing this big pot of Extra Hydration Face Cream for some times now, waiting for it to go on sale, and it did! I also plan to use it in the winter.

I have three looks to show you today, because I was so thrilled to try all of the Annabelle Trio Eyeshadows I've received!

Look #1 (FOTD) Annabelle Trio Eyeshadow in Holy Smoke (discontinued)

 It's a sweet mix of light purple (lavender-like), pearly white-beige and soft brown.

It's sheer, but you can still see a little the darkest shade.

I love what L'Oréal Double Extend Mascara does for my lashes!

Look #2 Annabelle Trio Eyeshadow in Grafix

 It's a basic palette for classic smoky eyes: pearly white, grey and black.

 Swipe the lightest shade on all the lid.

Use the medium shade on half of the lids toward the outer corner.

Add the darkest shade on the outer corner, blend, and voilà!

I didn't think I would be so happy with this palette! When I first looked at it, I was like, "Yeah, another smokey eyes palette, so what?" But it is so greatly pigmented and shimmery, and it is perfect for a soft smokey eye (but you can build the color as much as you like).

Look #3 Annabelle Trio Eyeshadow in Amazon (discontinued)

 A mix of two slightly different shades of perly brown and soft kaki green.

Swipe the lightest shade on all the lid.

Use the medium shade on half of the lids toward the outer corner.

Add the darkest shade on the outer corner, blend, and voilà!

As for Holy Smoke (which has been discontinued too), all you can see (besides shimmers) is the darkest shade. I don't know the reasons why they both have been discontinued, but my guess is that they weren't pigmented enough, if you compare them with the new formula, which I will be reviewing soon.
