I recently had a meetup that called for something a bit more formal and I'm always a bit clueless in these situations because I don't have a lot of formal clothes in my wardrobe, so I always end up borrowing something from my mother such a classic black pants and a blazer. This time, I took the time to analyze my wardrobe and came up with an outfit that I think is still wearable for everyday but it's a bit more classic than a t-shirt and jeans, for example.

ankle bracelet - Anji

I was very kindly sent this super lovely sterling silver ankle bracelet from Anji Jewelry some times ago - I have not worn an ankle bracelet since I was in high school I think, so I was super thrilled to be given this opportunity! The bracelet came in a cute and luxurious little black velvet pouch and as soon as I took it out, I was amazed at how it sparkled in the sun!

It looks very delicate but unlike my previous ankle bracelets which broke within a week or so, I have worn this one every day since I received it about two months ago. It has not lost its shine and there is not even one scratch on it - I even wear it in the shower! Last week, I met with some friends to have dinner at Chez Milot and then we headed to Radio Lounge in Montreal. This is what I wore to dinner because I didn't have time to change before:

Cardigan: Giant Tiger

Shorts: Stitches (those were an old pair of jeans I cute into shorts)

I did my hair before the restaurant to save time, but as you can see in the pictures below, it didn't hold its curls through the day because it was so hot and humid, despite my overload of hairspray. And after the club, it was totally falling flat LOL.

After dinner, I changed to go clubbing:

The day after, my father found a stray dog in your yard! Don't worry, we found his owner pretty quickly and handed him to her. I bet he ran from the house because he was scared of the storm. Poor doggie!

I love this song. Is it lame? I don't care. In my opinion, Miley Cyrus has such a unique voice, just like Avril Lavigne and Rihanna. Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely not into teen stars like Justin Bieber (I could punch him!) but I can recognize true talent. I only hope Miley will not turn into a slutty girl like so many did before her.

two ribbed tanks from Forever21 (4.50$ each)

I'm addicted to ribbed tanks (especially long ones). They are so easy to wear as they go with everything! I wanted a yellow one and a white one, and at this price, I couldn't say no. Not to mention that it's my first purchase from Forever21. The first time I went by to take a look, it was crowded, so I returned today. I soptted nice things, but they were too expensive for me-_-
