What Am I Bringing To Toronto?

If you follow me on Twitter, you may know that I was incredibly fortunated to win Ubisoft Just Dance Superstar Contest! The prize consists of a trip up to four people and includes two nights stay in a luxury downtown Toronto hotel (Hyatt Regency Toronto), limo service, spending money, four tickets to a concert or a show and four copies of Just Dance 3 Ubisoft video game. There was no concert or show available on the dates I could go (damn you school!) but instead, they have set up a VIP treatment for my friends and I in a nightclub - complete bottle service and a private booth! I can't wait!



I thought it would be interesting to show you what I bring with me to Toronto. Normally, I would not even have bothered with makeup and all that stuff but the thing is that we will be interviewed and the Just Dance camera crew will follow us around while we shop on Queen Street West so hey, a girl gotta look good!

I realized that I don't have many travel size products because I tend to use them up first instead of having them laying around because I don't travel much and when I do, I don't bring tons of stuff with me. I don't have any mini format body cream, and this is the only really important product to me, so I'm stuck with that jumbo The Body Shop Shea Butter LOL! I also tried to bring multi-tasking products such as Too Faced Leopard Love and Marcelle BB Cream but overall I think I did great as I stuck mainly with essentials.

I can't wait to go shopping, spending money that you didn't work for feels so good, doesn't it? Instead of making a list of things I want, I made a list of places to shop at and I'll see! I was thinking maybe some MAC lipsticks even though there's none in particular I really want and some LUSH Valentine's Day stuff! I know I will be given a gift card to shop at H&M with a personal stylist and that's where the Just Dance camera crew will follow me around (so exciting!) but I will have some cash left to spend however I want (:

My friends and I will fly to Toronto today at 1:00 and I'm so excited! I will be sure to take tons of pictures =D

Mail of the Week (December 5 - 9)

My prize from Alex's giveaway : Can you believe I have never tried Joe Fresh before, except for their double end concealer a looooong time ago? I'm so lucky to have won this giveaway because I keep hearing great things about their cream blushes and their nail polishes! Here's what Alez kindly sent me:

My order from Apothica.com: I'm sad to say that I'm disappointed with their shipping this time. I placed my order on November 28, it was shipped on November 30 and I received it on December 6 - the thing is that I opted for the USPS Express Mail International, which means I was supposed to get my order within 3 days, not to emntion I wasd provided with a tracking number that didn't even exist... well, don't waste your money on that. At least I got my whole order safe and sound, and I'll do a separate post about it (:

Oral-B Pulsonic Power Toothbrush* from ChickAdvisor: As I'm a member of their Product Review Club, I was lucky enough to be chosen to be test and review this toothbrush! I haven't used power toothbrushes in a long time but I really think they are awesome! I'm not sure if you'll be interested in reading a review on a toothbrush so I don't know if I should post this review on here or only on ChickAdvisor? Friday, I went to Jean Coutu to grab my pills, and, of course, I had to quickly browse the makeup aisle. I found those two mascaras on sale (both were around $2 off):

My boyfriend bought me a box of Vector (because I always eat a bowl of those at his place) and... Mario Galaxy 2!

I spent 5 hours straight playing this game on Sunday LOL.

I loved Mario Galaxy 1, but it was to my boyfriend and his brothers and they decided to sell it for another game before I could finish it )= I'm already at World 3 in Mario Galaxy 2, and the feature I like the most is Yoshi, of course! I also love the fact that you can play with a friend who will be a Luma who follow Mario (you can't control her) and who can immobilize ennemies and even eliminate them. The Luma can also grab coins and star pieces. Sometimes, you can even play as Luigi! This game also appear easier than the first one so far, but it's a lot of fun!

Friday, my friend Stéphanie held a party in her house. My boyfriend suggested it would be cool to make it a cocktail night, so every one attending had to bring a liquor so we could make lots of cocktails. It was fun, but I think I prefer to stick to beer (cocktails tend to be too sugary). Here's my FOTN, OOTN and HOTN:

Sunday, I went to Winners because the boyfriend needed some shorts. I didn't really need something, but as we were heading to the fitting room, I spotted a rack filled with pretty little prom dresses. I couldn't help but take a quick look (I needed a dress to attend my friend's wedding in August, after all!) and a super cute yellow dress catched my attention. At $24.99, it was such a bargain, so I bought it. Here it is:

It has cute ribbons in the back that you can tie in a bow, but I wasn't able to do so without help, so I didn't took a picture of the back of the dress. The back is made of stretch material, so I don't even have to were a bra (but I will LOL). There's also a zipper in the back.

I was thinking about getting this dress from H&M for the wedding:

But when I saw the one from Winners at $24.99 and exactly my size, I couldn't pass by!

I also spotted this super sexy dress that I wanted to try on just for fun:

I love the zippers! It's a dress made of stretchy denim with decorative zippers. I didn't buy it because I don't know where I could were it. It seems too sexy to go clubbing... It was also $24.99, so I was hesitant... I still don't know if I should buy it or not, but by the time I go to Winners again, my size will probably be gone -_-

Monday and Thuesday, I basically spent all day in the sun in my backyard in a swimsuit (with loads of sunscreen, of course!) hoping to get a tan. It was around 30°!

My mother, who works at a local college's library, brought me those three books they just received:

I think I heard about those books (The Vampire Diaries) before, and the story looks similar to Twilight (which I'm absolutely NOT a fan), but I've started reading the first one and it's good so far. We'll see!

I like this bronzer. It gives a radiant glow without being overpowing (like Annabelle Mineral Bronzer, which was a little bit too dark for me). It has little shimmers but they only won't make you look like a disco ball. Stay tuned for my upcoming review (I will continue to use it for about a week before reviewing it).
