OOTD | I feel something so right by doing the wrong thing

Hi ladies! I have been busy working from home on the company I recently started with my sister in law, Les Joyeuses Balayeuses, and my daily "uniform" mainly consists of comfy clothes, such as this leopard print hoodie I got from ROMWE.

As soon as I saw it, I instantly fell in love with the leopard print sleeves and hood, and the contrasting neon pink letters! The loose (but not unflattering) fit and super soft-touch fabric makes this hoodie a daily staple for me. Also, I did not notice that the pockets were on the side until I received this sweater, but I think this detail makes it more flattering.

When I ordered this item, it was only available in One Size, but now I see that it is actually also available in M, L and XL for $20.99. If this sweater has caught your eyes, be quick because the items on the ROMWE website sell out fast, and when they are gone, they are gone forever!

Guest Post | Personalized Clothing - Expressionism Meets Fashion

There are so many great things about fashion today. Not only can inspired fashionistas turn to top designers or brands for trendy looks, they can easily show off their style through DIY projects that yield custom garments and pieces. Even ladies not handy with a thread and needle can grab a glue-gun, iron, scissors or other common household items to help create their own look while showing off unique personalities. Take these ideas from fashion bloggers:

This fun concept could also be done on jackets or flannels, but looks amazingly fabulous on rolled boyfriend jeans as shown. The blogger muse used military, varsity and rock inspired patches, combined with a black leather jacket and modern Oxfords to help solidify an edgy look, perfect for day or even the right evening event.

The girls behind A Beautiful Mess created a custom sweater complete with a cute red heart to show off a feminine look with a touch of child-like whimsy. The model’s softly curled hair and natural-hued makeup palette help to ensure a sweet yet modern vibe.

Women wanting to look like they’ve styled themselves in a ridiculously expensive designer sweater can take a cue from this custom project. Made with an old sweater and a piece of applique this Trash to Couture blogger simply hand sewed the edges and cut out the middle portions. Her high-fashion sense definitely shows through with a custom sweater perfect for a multitude of occasions.

Of course, as anyone into both high fashion and the punk trend currently invading our pop culture knows, a feathery headpiece is certain to be a just-right accent. While celebs pay big bucks for designers to create these pieces, fashion blogger Maegan took to her craft supplies to construct a one-of-a-kind headpiece every bit as punk as the runway styles, but undoubtedly way more affordable! And somehow, when paired with plaid and leather, it works flawlessly!

Ladies who appreciate the fun side of fashion will adore these custom designed sunglasses complete with a 3D effect thanks to faux pearl embellishments. This blogger undoubtedly has a quirky yet hip take on style, and a variety of sunglass silhouettes could easily be adorned with faux-pearls but also, crystals or metallic detailing.

Of course, business owners, coaches and many others may want some custom gear of their own, but aren’t as savvy as the above bloggers. So another, easy way to personalize any outfit is by taking advantage of zipgraphix.com. Send in a logo or artwork and they can screen or embroider it onto shirts, pants, bags and much more to help you standout in a crowd. To show individuality and uniqueness, start customizing your garments and accessories in 2014!

OOTD | But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?

Hi ladies! I really wanted to share with you a favorite piece of clothing of mine I have been wearing really often during the months of November, December and even January! A friend even joked I would not be able to wear it after January because of its festive Christmas design...

Isn't this hoodie the cutest? I was imediately drawn to the deer print since I thought it would be perfect for the Holidays, and I only received nice compliments on it! I like that despite being available only in One Size, this hoodie fits perfectly! It is also designed with soft fabric so I never want to get out of it!

The Deers Print Twin Pockets White Hoodie is also available in Black for $26.99 at ROMWE. If this hoodie has caught your eyes, be quick because the items on the ROMWE website sell out fast, and when they are gone, they are gone forever!

OOTD | I can't escape this now unless you show me how

Hi ladies! I recently attended a birthday party and I was not sure how everybody would be dressed so I figured out it would be better to wear something classy than to be underdressed. I opted for a cute, simple yet classy black dress I recently ordered from ROMWE.

Lace Panel Sheer Black Dress - ROMWE | cardigan - Suzy Shier

Made of polyester, this dress is super comfy! It is beautifully fitting and super flattering, and the lace panel and see through back are simply stunning. For some reason, I always like to pair dresses with cardigan - OK, I am always cold, but don't you agree it amps up the sexiness factor?

I totally forgot to take a picture of my outfit with FRAAS Holiday Metallic Scarf, which I chose to bring with me in case I got cold, because I always end up being cold anyway! I had the chance to receive this scarf in the Metallic Zebra style and I have worn it countless times to accessorize a simple tee or to keep me warm with a dress. Its pretty use of metallic yarns (mixed with acrylic and viscose) combines with the always popular animal print, to create a 12x80 inch accessory that works beautifully as both a wrap and scarf for day, evening and holiday events. Three color ways are featured including a black combo, as well as gold and silver. Great for dress up, special occasions' or just for fun, it retails for $35.

As for my hair, I recently had the chance to try Echosline Seliàr Synergy Color in Chestnut Violet. After rinsing the color and applying conditioner, I was left with very soft, shiny and dark hair - the purple is noticeable only with a flash or in direct lighting, but I guess it will peek through a bit more after a few washes. Maybe next time I should use 40 vol.?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

OOTD | I could be the one to make you feel that way

Hi ladies! I met up with some friends at Les 3 Brasseurs for my friend Steph's birthday a few weeks ago, where we indulged in some delicious beers and I had their absolutely savoury Portobello burger, once again (portobello mushroom, grilled peppers, onions, zucchini, goat cheese and arugula, served with sweet potato fries) - I included a picture in my September in Pictures post for you to see, since I seem to be mentionning this plate quite often!

The weather was surprisingly nice for late September, so I did not hesitate to wear shorts... for the last time of the season! I did not really have the opportunity to wear my Flash t-shirt from ROMWE before so I decided to throw a vest over it for a more casual look, and I was happy to receive compliments on it!

Also, I just can't seem to get over how shiny and soft my hair look in these pictures - I think I am in love with Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Deep Hydrating Treatment and Dry Styling Oil! Be sure to read my review on these amazing products!

OOTD | Venus Goddess Of Love Costume

Hi ladies! Are you excited for Halloween? I sure am, even though I don't really have nothing planned as of now, but last minute parties are the best, aren't they? This year, I wanted to wear something different than my usual more-or-less-sexy costumes, so when I was given the opportunity to choose an outfit from FrightCatalog.com, I made sure to choose carefully!

I always wanted an antique costume, so I finally made my mind and decided on Venus Goddess of Love Costume, and I must say, I am quite impressed at its quality! Having worked at a Halloween store a few years ago, I sure do know most costumes are very different than what is advertised on the packaging, and some brands are worst than others - I sure was not expecting such a nice surprised from California Costumes!

The super silky dress is designed as a mini white toga with a purple drape wrapping around it. The plunging v-neck can look a bit intimidating at first but the cups are adjustable for the desired degree of coverage. The decorative band running under the bust line is very flattering and I like the strip of shiny gold that serve as a trim on the enclosed sheer white shoulder drape.

Venus Goddess of Love Costume is available for $34.99 in sizes Small to X-Large.

OOTD | All this time I was finding myself & I didn't know I was lost

Hi ladies! I am sure I am not the only one who is starting to get excited about Fall and the colder weather, which means it's time for cozy cardigans, scarves, scented candles and pumpkin-everything! Fall might as well be my favorite season - the nature looks super gorgeous, it's not too cold and there is no snow yet!

scarf - eBay | tank top - Forever21 | sweater - DIY | jeggings - Walmart

I went to have dinner at my brother's and I knew we would sit by a bonfire in his yard afterward, so I figured out I would wear something warmer yet cozy. I was given this super soft sweater by a friend of my mother but it had a weird neckline that did not compliment me at all, so I just decided to chop it off and wear it off my shoulders, paired with a tank top. I chose to accessorize this rather simple outfit with my favorite leopard print scarf and my super comfy Miley Cyrus & Max Azria jeggings.

Oh yes, and I finally had my hair "fixed" at Salon Jacques Laurent! I absolutely love how they keep a card with the name of the customers on it and what they had done to their hair for future reference, which saves a lot of time explaining exactly what you want, especially if you don't have the same hairdresser as last time. I requested a burgundy with more purple than red in it, and I am pretty happy with the results!

Are you excited about Fall as well?
