I was contacted by Selina from Cellnique to become part of Cellnique’s bloggers community and do products review on my blog. She asked for my skin condition or my skin concern so she could send the suitable products for my skin condition.

My main skin concerns are:
  • dry skin
  • large pores
  • little signs of aging (fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth)

These are the products I received:

Amino Collagen C Intense Set
Advance Bio Renewal Serum
Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion

I've been using these products for about a month now, and I think it's time I share my opinion with you.

Let's start with some "before and after" pictures:

 Before

 After

I don't know if you can see a difference, but for me, there's definitely an improvment. My skin is much clearer and radiant, the pores on my nose and chin are smaller, and my skin is less dry.

These are the guidelines to use the products in my daily beauty routine:

Amino Collagen C Intense Set

Price: US $96.00/10ml x 2

The claims:

How to use:

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • doesn't really have a scent
  • very light texture
  • absorbs quickly into skin
  • my pores are noticeably smaller after a few weeks of use
  • I noticed improved skin texture

Cons:
  • Intense I stings and burns sensitive skin
  • the dropper dispenser leaks
  • didn't not get rid of all of my dry skin patches
  • expensive

What I think:

I had better results with Intense I than with Intense II. When I look at the pictures I took before beginning this routine, I can really tell that my pores are smaller, especially on my nose and my chin, and I find this truly amazing because I've never used a product that gave similar results. However, I was scared of using it because it stings and burns my dry skin like hell (even when I used Intense II first, as they suggest for sensitive skin), so I ended up using it only on my nose, chin and cheeks. Intense II did not get rid of all of my dry patches, but it significantly moisturized my skin.

Advance Bio Renewal Serum

Price: US $51.00/30ml

The claims:

How to use:

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • thick and creamy but fluid texture
  • the scent reminds me of vanilla yogurt

Cons:
  • not moisturizing enough
  • didn't appear to have done something to my skin
  • expensive

What I think:
I didn't notice anything special after using this product. I didn't notice a "fresh, radiant and healthy looking skin". This product didn't appear to have dissolved pore clogging debris as I don't see a difference regarding the blackheads on my nose and chin. And I'm not sure if it reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles because the only fine lines I have are around my eyes and around my mouth.

Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion

Price: US $73.00/30g

The claims:

How to use:

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • doesn't really have a scent
  • my skin is noticeably softer after use
  • creamy texture

Cons:
  • not moisturizing enough
  • isn't absorbed quickly enough into skin
  • a little greasy
  • expensive

What I think:
This cream moisturized my skin a little, but not enough. As it is anti-inflammatory, it calmed the redness on my face cause by dryness. I like the creamy texture, but it doesn't sink right into the skin. However, I appreaciate the fact that my skin is noticeably softer after use. As

OOTN: Sun-kissed skin so hot, we'll melt your popsicle, oooooh oh oooooh

Last week, I met with some friends to have dinner at Chez Milot and then we headed to Radio Lounge in Montreal. This is what I wore to dinner because I didn't have time to change before:

Cardigan: Giant Tiger
Tank top: Forever 21
Shorts: Stitches (those were an old pair of jeans I cute into shorts)

I did my hair before the restaurant to save time, but as you can see in the pictures below, it didn't hold its curls through the day because it was so hot and humid, despite my overload of hairspray. And after the club, it was totally falling flat LOL.

After dinner, I changed to go clubbing:

with Sara and Véronique (I did Sara's makeup!)

 What a dumb smile LOL

Cami: Simons
Necklace: Avon
Studs earrings: eBay

with Sara and Gen

I don't have a picture of my full outfit, but I wore this skirt from Limité:

It is really short (I wouldn't wear it on the street), but it was on sale ($10, if I remember well) and I couldn't get over the pretty lace details:

The day after, my father found a stray dog in your yard! Don't worry, we found his owner pretty quickly and handed him to her. I bet he ran from the house because he was scared of the storm. Poor doggie!

It's a shih tzu named Toufou.

The way he sits is just too cute! I was wondering if he had legs problems, though )=

with my mother

We gave him cat food because we were worried he would be starving - and he ate it!

It was nice meeting you, Toufou!

Perfect Petzzz - the ultimate pet.

Each bundle includes:
  • New Soft Pet

  • New Plush Pet Bed
  • Brush
  • Adoption Certificate
  • 'Did You Know' Card
  • 1 'D' Alkaline Battery
  • 100% Synthentic Fur
Packaging:

The dog comes in a cute cardboard box that you can use to carry or store it.

The animal is packed on top (of course!)

Plush pet bed

Brush (in the little white box glued on the cardboard), adoption certificate and 'Did You Know' card

Please note that the annoying sound you hear is caused by the "zoom" button of my camera

Pros:
  • realistic
  • unique and original
  • lifetime warranty
  • 1 'D' Alkaline battery included in the bundle

Cons:
  • smaller than it appears in the advertisments
  • you have to look closely to see that it's breathing
  • makes weird noise when it breathes
  • no ON/OFF switch (you have to get a screwdriver to remove the battery when you want to turn it off)
  • the head is not as soft as the rest of the body, and the whole dog could have been even more softer (the plush bed is much softer than the pet itself!)
  • moveable ears would have been interesting (why just the tail?)

What I think:

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review this product as I've been obsessed with it since the first time I saw it.

First of all, it is not stated clearly on the Perfect Petzzz website wether it's a toy or not, but I would not recommend this for little children. The pet is advertised as "huggable", but it's not that soft (the plush bed is much softer than the pet itself!), and it's not really interactive. I guess after the first few minutes of watching the animal breathing, the kids will be bored. I see this product more as a collectible.

However, I have to say that I've been a little disappointed by this pet. I thought the dog would be bigger - the size of a real golden retriever puppy - but it is so small! This is tricky as you don't get to see the size of the pet clearly in the advertisments. I was also a little disappointed because you can barely see the dog breathing. Don't get me wrong - it does breath, but you have to look closely to see that it's breathing.

Also, this is no big deal to me, but I was surprised to see that there was no ON/OFF switch! Instead of unscrewing the battery's cover everytime I want to turn the pet on or off, I just removed it completely. Another little thing that could be improved: make the ears moveable, just like the tail.

Oh and maybe it's just the pet I received that does that strange noise when it breathes... but it's definitely weird! I don't know how to explain it... it's a little like the noise of two plastic thing rubbing together O_O

But I must acknowledge that this pet is realistic, and the idea of a breathing animal is absolutely great. This dog cheered me up a little after my beloved Balou passed away. It is also great to have included a 1 'D' Alkaline battery the package, but the greatest thing of all: lifetime warranty!

Available pets:
Perfect Petzzz has a variety of animals: puppies, kittens, and even wild animals! Check out their website to see all the available pets.

Shopping: Giant Tiger, Wal-Mart and Dollarama

I went to Giant Tiger and Wal-Mart before going on vacations and I've found some interesting things.

Giant Tiger:

I lost my invoice, but if I remember well, most of the articles were $12.97 and $14.97.

Just One Three-quarter sleeves grey cardigan: I've been wanting one forever! I like that's it's grey; it just goes with everything (=

Blue Crush Long sleeves baby blue cardigan: I love the design in the back!

Bizz Girl Belted black and white striped top: I was looking for some long tops that would go well with my leggings, and this one is perfect (=
Sorry for the crappy quality, I couldn't get a nice picture -_-

Bizz Girl Belted black and navy blue striped top: I love the studded belt!

Wal-Mart:

725 Originals Yellow bikini - $5 each piece : I've been wanting a yellow bikini for some times now, and at this price, I couldn't resist! It's a very basic bikini though, so there's not a lot of padding or support.

Dollarama:

I like to wander in the beauty aisle of my local Dollarama, as I always find some interesting things at such a bargaineous price.

Super Mario Gummies and crunchy candies - $1.25 : I have a fascination for everything from Nintendo, and I often find some of those things at the dollar store. Most of the candies are not good, but I buy them for the figurine. Those were for my boyfriend (=

Epsom Salts Bath Crystals - $1 : I was looking for something more abrasive than sugar or salt to mix with olive oil to make my own body scrub, and I think this would be perfect.

Alberto VO5 Deep Nourishing Moisture Intensive Mask 3 Minute Mask - $2 : This was on the lowest shelf, so if I hadn't look down, I wouldn't have seen it! I haven't heard about this product before, but it's labelled "NEW". I needed a good hair mask for my fried ends, so I can't wait to try it!
