Marcelle Essentials Purity Soothing Cleansing Water

A refreshing take on beautiful skin.
A soothing refreshing water that gently cleanses and tones skin while removing eye make-up, just what you wished for. Introducing Essentials Soothing Cleansing Water make-up cleanser, a rinse-free formula that micro-emulsifies impurities and waterproof make-up without irritating skin, gentle for even the driest and most sensitive complexions. Skin feels clean, refreshed, and revitalized.

That's it, I'm done - I refuse to touch another makeup remover than this one. I still can't believe I haven't reviewed this stuff already because it's definitely my HG makeup remover! Marcelle Essentials Purity Soothing Cleansing Water is all I ever wanted - it's just so gentle yet it melts everything away effortlessly, without leaving annoying greasy residues behind. But it's not only a makeup remover - it's also an eye make-up remover, facial cleanser and tonifying lotion all at once and the best of all - it requires no rinsing, which is perfect for lazy girls like me! Another bonus? No nasty things such as parabens, silicones, or SLS!

Because of my dry skin, I tend to get eczema flare-ups very easily, especially around my eyes - if I rub a little too hard to remove my makeup, I will wake up the next morning with a swollen, red, itchy and irritated eye - very annoying. With Marcelle Cleansing Water, I never had this problem because it just melts everything away so easily!

I think you get a good quantity of product for the price ($14.50 for 6.7 FL OZ / 200 mL) because I've had my first bottle since mid-February and I only recently used it up, but if you live near Montreal, you can grab it for around $8 if I remember well at the Marcelle warehouse sales that happen twice a year (I go to those sales solely to stock up on this item!)

My babies... OK, maybe I do have a problem

  8. I wonder how this compares to the Bioderma Sensibio H2O (Crealine H20 Solution micellaire) that everyone has been raving about lately. I've never tried a Micellar remover before.
    Gaby, have you ever tried the Bioderma?

  9. @beauty combat : Je suis contente que tu l'aimes aussi!

    @MissTwist : I use a makeup remover only to remove my eye makeup though and I always wash my face right after, but some remover still leave an oily/greasy residue around my eyes that is a mess to remove, and it drives me crazy! Also, I tend to get milia super easily so I try to stay away from oily stuff.

    @Aurélie-Letizia : Absolutely! Now you make me feel less crazy to have stock up on this ahah!

    @charlene-ann : You totally should!

    @Bright Town Girl : It's seriously the best of the best!

    @Venus Loves Virgo : Thanks hun, you too!

    @Harshleen@BeautyTidbits : It's simply AMAZING!

    @ SiSi Sparkles : Yes, all in one! Amazing for the price, isn't it?

    @BooBooNinja : Yeah it seems everyone is talking about this stuff but honestly it annoyes mer and I couldn't care less about it because the one from Marcelle is much more affordable and it works amazingly well.

  10. Hi Gaby,
    Thanks for the response :)
    I'm glad that you blogged about this product. I've taken the Bioderma off the shelf at the drugstore a couple of times, debating on whether to spend the money. I always put it back because it is too expensive.

    Please keep us posted about how this cleanser works for you. Let us know if you find it dries out your skin or if it stops working for you.

    Thank you!
