Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron (1")

Can you believe Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is actually my very first curling iron? I only own a curling wand which I must admit I don't reach for very often due to pure lazyness, and I remember trying to curly my poor hair with my mother's super old and and completely rusted curling iron - never again! I was super excited to finally be able to try a proper curling iron when Flat Iron Experts very kindly offered to send me this one to try.

The Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is rated #2 on Flat Iron Experts' Best Curling Iron list for one reason alone and it is the price - if price wasn't a factor, this curling iron will for sure be the #1 choice! The Babyliss Tourmaline Ceramic Curling iron emits negative ions and far-infrared heat that brings a number of additional benefits to your hair: eliminates static electricity, preserve more moisture within the hair shaft, neutralize odor (?!) and causes less damage to the hair cuticle

L - R: before and after

The Babyliss curling iron is available in 5 barrel sizes, it comes with 40 adjustable heats setting up to a scorching 428 F perfect for all hair types, and yes, it does heat up really fast! While the rubbizered handle makes it comfortable to work with this iron, I have found that my arm hurts a bit after use, since the Babyliss Curling Iron weights 1 lbs! Another thing I found super annoying is that I tend to turn off the iron by error because of how the ON/OFF button is positioned too close to the handle.

I love how this iron creates big, loose and glossy curls in just a matter of time! Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is currently on sale for $84.99 (normally retails at $119.99) at Flat Iron Experts.

FOTD & OOTD | À la vie, à la mort on va s'aimer encore (Geneviève & Robin's Wedding)

The gorgeous bride and groom

Last Saturday, my friend and I celebrated our friends Geneviève and Robin's wedding. I have known Gen since elementary school and she and Robin met through my boyfriend and I, and I know Gen was dreaming of this wedding for such a long time! It was awesome to be with them for this very special celebration.

Beautiful tables setup and yummy cupcakes

Of course, between my hairdresser appointment in the morning (more details in an upcoming post) and everything else, I absolutely forgot to take proper pictures of my makeup and outfit, as always! Here is a quick breakdown anyway.

It was a beautiful day and we had tons of fun! Congratulations again Geneviève and Robin, I wish you lifelong happiness!
