I am quite mad as I am typing this post for the second time since Blogger decided to delete it just for fun, and apparently, I am not the only one who have had this problem recently. Since most of you ladies are fellow bloggers, you know how tedious it is to write a blog post, but can you imagine how frustrating it is to start all over again? I am glad I had not deleted my pictures though since I tend to get rid of them once my posts have gone live. Oh well, I think it is time I start to backup my articles, lesson learned! If you are using Blogger, please be careful as well!
I have never used anything from Milani before since, as far as I know, their products are not available in Canada, but I had the chance to receive their Baked Blush in Luminoso as a gift, and it seriously blew me away! Milani Baked Blush is a luxurious powder blush that feels incredibly soft and silky to the touch and it blends amazingly smoothly on the skin. It has a really light texture, and it barely feels like you have something on your cheeks.
I have recently featured this blush in my 'Everyday makeup routine' post and even though I have been using it almost every day for a whole month, I still can't get enough of it! It is just perfect to me - it is seriously the prettiest, universally-flattering, soft golden peachy/coral shade ever! Even though it is said to be a shimmer blush, it contains no sparkles so instead of leaving me looking like a disco ball, it infuses my cheeks with a stunning sheen that illuminates my skin and instantly makes me look awake.
I must admit I did find the gold plastic packaging a bit tacky at first, but it seems to have grown on me. It includes a mirror and a small, flat and not so soft brush that I probably won't use, but I will keep it in case of emergency touch-ups, housed in a separated compartment underneath the blush itself.
Luminoso is really my favorite blush at the moment for those mornings when I am in a rush and I just want a luminous wash of color on my cheeks, since its pigmentation is perfect for me without needing to build it up. I think it would work well as an highlighter on the forehead, chin and nose too since it gives a glowy, sheer, luminous look to the skin.
Milani Baked Blush is available in 9 shades at CVS, Walgreens and Target in the US but you can also get it online at Cherry Culture for $7.99.
Its look very nice on you :) !
ReplyDeleteOh..You know how much I love this blush!! A-m-a-z-i-n-g!! Really love it:)
ReplyDeleteThat's so annoying that Blogger deleted your post :( This blush looks lovely! I love when there is a mirror in blush packaging - it's so useful. x
ReplyDeleteIl y a des produits milani dans certains Maxi & Cie et dans certains Loblaws, mais il n'y en a pas beaucoup ...
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this blush looks gorgeous on your skin. This didn't work for me so I am thrilled to see how nice it looks on you. :)
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of MAC MSFs. Milani is available at Loblaws and Maxi's. They don't have the entire line but they do carry a fair amount of products.
ReplyDeleteI love this blush too! It does leave a gorgeous sheen!
ReplyDeleteI love this blush! It looks awesome on your Gaby!
ReplyDeleteYou can actually get Milani at The Real Canadian Super-Store!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen Milani sold at WalMart and Loblaws :) The downside is that the selection is not wide. I'm sure they have more choice in the US.
ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous on you!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty on you, Gaby! I have Luminoso as well but I don't use it very much. I don't know why though because it is a very pretty color! This post has inspired me to take it out of my makeup drawer and use it again!
