LUSH MMM Melting Marshmallow Moment - Candy-Scented Melt-y Bath Marvel

Hi ladies! This has been on my wishlist for quite some time solely because it was said to smell sweet like cupcake and hey, who can resist cupcake-scented bath treats? LUSH bubble bars are proably my favorite bath products since I have very dry skin that gets irritated easily, and I liked that this one contains skin softeners such as almond oil, cocoa butter and even chamomille.

Since Melting Marshmallow Moment is part bath melt and part bath bomb, I was expecting it to crumble easily under the water while fizzing slowly, but I did not experience any fizzing, and it was damn hard to crumble since it is not as soft as I was expecting it to be. It does melt really slowly though, and I was even left with some chunks that would not dissolve until I smooshed them between my hands or under my feet.

I was hoping to be left with some nice milky pink water, but I was barely left with a thin blanket of froth that dissolved withing 10 minutes, and when this evaporated, the water was left a weird an unappealing murky white color, which was rather disappointing. I guess the coca butter and almond oil were released with the white froth since this was really moisturizing when rubbed ito my skin.

I was also disappointed to barely smell anything in the bath, not that the bath melt itself had a strong fragrance outside of the bath anyway. After use, my skin did feel soft but not especially moisturized although it did not feel dry either. This was a bit of a disappointed experience for me, and sadly, I would not repurchase this product.

MMM Melting Marshmallow Moment is available at LUSH for $7.95 for 100g.

  4. I love this product! Sorry it wasn't a nice experience for u. It actually sounds like u had one that was out of date or dried up cos they are normally really soft and very moisturising. Hope u find something that works better for u :)
