I have never heard of this brand before, but I was kindly given the opportunity to try some of their products.
Transforming Eye Gel ($10.00 for 18 mL / .60 fl oz)
A must-have product for all makeup users. This versatile transforming eye gel has endless possibilities to creating the most basic or creative eye looks. A great eye shadow primer when used alone or mixed with your favorite eye color to deliver long lasting wear and an intense color. Mix with Stardust to create a water-resistant, vibrant and bold color that won't crease or fade.
The squeezable tube makes it easy to use the exact amount of product needed.
The gel-consistency is perfect, it's not runny at all, it's very lightweight, and it dries very quickly, which is a big pro for me.
Maybelline Eyestudio in Copper Chic
I must start by saying that I'm relatively new to makeup primers, so I don't have a lot of products to compare this one to. For this review, I only used it as an eyeshadow primer, and I think it works well. My eyeshadow didn't budge and it stayed as vibrant as it was in the morning.

Mineral Perfection in 51 Ivory ($26.00)
Delivers all day coverage with its unique cream to powder formulation which instantly softens the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines with a very natural finish. This mineral-based product is talc and paraben free. Versatile use on a wide range of skin types.
Contains two key active ingredients: Dermaxyl, for its anti-aging, wrinkle-reducing effect, and Collagen Tripeptide, to stimulates collagen production. To further protect the skin, Mineral Perfection was specially formulated with anti-inflammatory ingredients that promote cell reproduction and protect the skin with its unique sunscreen activity.
To apply, simply use the sponge applicator provided to blend evenly into the skin. For maximum, full coverage, Mineral Perfection can be layered.
I love the packaging, it looks very classy (even tough it feels a little cheap to the touch), and I think it's cool that it flips open to reveal the sponge. I personally wouldn't apply this foundation with the provided sponge, but it's nice that they included one anyway, it can always come in handy.
I was surprised to see that this foundation really provides a natural finish even tough its coverage is medium to heavy. It concealed my large pores perfectly and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. It's also great to conceal trouble spots such as blemishes as it's easily buildable.
Unfortunately, this product isn't available in a wide selection of color, and it was a little hard for me to pick the perfect shade from looking at the swatches on the website. Don't you think the fourth and the fifth ones look very similar? I settled for the fourth one and I would say it suits my skintone well, but not perfectly. It's a little too yellow but I don't think it's that much noticeable.

Mineral Stardust in 31 ($12.00 for 2g / 7 oz)
Our Stardust is a highly concentrated loose powder that comes in a wide range of colors. Use to create a subtle effect or dramatic intense color. Mix with our eye primer to create a dramatic look. This exetremely versatile product is key to any makeup kit as it can be used on the eyes, cheeks or body, or to create your own custom lip or nail color. Can be used alone, blended together, or mixed with other makeup.
The packaging is very basic, with a sticker on the back to indicate the name and shade of the product.
OMG This eyeshadow is the prettiest! Seriously, look at that! It so pigmented and shimmery, I absolutely love it! I don't even think the pictures do it justice...
I've never been a fan of pigments because of their messiness, but they are great as they tend to be more pigmented than pressed eyeshadows, and this one is no expection. Unfortunately, even with a primer, it creased at the end of the day.
I love the texture, it's very buttery and it glides so smoothly on the lids.

ReplyDeleteInteresting post - thank you for information, never heard about this brand before:)
ReplyDeleteThat gold looks so pretty on your eyes!

On voit vraiment la différence avec le primer ! Merci pour cette Review j'avais jamais entendu parler de cette marque .
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard of this brand before but that mineral dust looks so pretty - the colour is gorgeous and exactly what I'd go for in an eyeshadow colour. x
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks like nice products Gaby! Le primer me fait penser un peu au truc de Lise Watier, mais j'ai essaye ni un ni l'autre...
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this brand before. Thanks for telling us about it!
ReplyDeleteThis is new to me too, the prices are actually quite reasonable too :)
ReplyDeleteHI Gaby! Wow you're so lucky to always try out new products :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this brand of cosmetics before but the primer really makes your eyeshadow pigmentation pop. I use MAC paint pots for my eyeshadow primer and that works fabulous. For years I used UDPP but since it's not overly humid (like tropical weather) here in Canada, the MAC paint pots have never let me down and I like how there are various colour bases to it.
The foundation looks way too yellow though. I think the one reason I stopped using drugstore foundations is that the range of colours didn't suit me - either too yellow, too grey, too pink, too something....but I do miss the Revlon Colourstay formula which is fantastic. I just wish they had a better colour range but again, it's drugstore and 1/2 price of my MAC ones :S
I love the mineral pigment eyeshadow you got sent! It's gorgeous. Totally the kind of colour I would wear all the time :)
@Vintage Makeup @Supergirl @LilyLipstick @Tracy@Beauty Reflections @Tracy D : I have never heard about them either, but I'm pretty pleased with the products I got to try (=
ReplyDelete@For The Fierce : Thank you! I love gold eyeshadows =D
@Karen Law : Hi Karen! I'm new to this brand too but they seem to have really good and affordable products. I'm not used to primers but this one does a great job. As for the foundation, I was surprised at how yellow it looked on the pan, but when I make sure to carefuly blend it on my skin, it doesn't look yellow. I don't really wear foundation anyway. And the eyeshadow is my favorite product from them!
PLEASE help me i can not find transforming eye gel anywhere ! not even online ! HAVE THEY GONE OUT OF BUSINESS ?! Do you know where i can find it or a product similar ?!
