What I think:
I didn't use this lotion all over my body as I wanted to target problematic area (dry patches of skin, and eczema-prone areas). I took pictures of my forehead and the area around my mouth to show you the difference this lotion makes:

Before

I was struggling with dry patches of red and itchy skin and eczema on my forehead.

The area below my nose and around my mouth is prone to dry skin and eczema.

After

My forehead is significantly less dry, and the eczema is almost all gone.

The targeted areas are less dry skin and the eczema is almost gone.

I'm also struggling with eczema on various parts of my body like behind the knees, on my arms, and the worse is on my right hand, but the lotion didn't do anything for it because it's infected and really stubborn. Nothing can completely gets rid of it, no even the strongest prescription cream.
I used the shielding lotion on my face twice a day religiously until the moisture level improves, then just once every 12-24 hours. The eczema is almost gone and my face is significantly drier. It did a great job, but I don't think it can get rid of eczema alone, without prescription cream.

Recommend? yes

  2. Sorry about the eczema! Maybe you should switch and use Dermatologist recommended ones? Cetaphil works for me and it's a thicker formula that's non-greasy.

  4. Hi Gaby! Great review - especially with the before and after pictures. I didn't know you have eczema on more than just your right hand and lip....but it seemed to work very well for your face. I know how stubborn this skin condition can be :( It's too bad it didn't help you for your right hand which has the most stubborn form of eczema (like myself). But how is the Cetaphil Restoraderm working for you? I believe you said you picked it up?

  5. This lotion looks like it really helps, and the best part is that it has spf :) You can really see the difference. Yep, $1.10 is a pretty great deal, even though it's the smallest size!
