More Christmas Presents

As if I hadn't been spoiled enough on Christmas, I found a little message from my mother on my bed when I came home last week:
"Gaby, I have hidden four surprises in your room. Where are they?"
So I went on a hunt, and this is what I found:

Bodycology Cucumber Melon Body Butter: I have mentionned to my mother that I was curious about this brand, so she got me this body butter that was on sale. On the Boxing Day, she paid even less that $1.50 for this at Wal-Mart!

SPAresource Vanilla Sugar Hand Cream: In my opinion, SPAresource makes the best hand creams. They are so thick and creamy and their smell is really strong (which I like) and yummy.

SPAresource Vanilla Sugar Body Butter: The SPAresource body butters are also my favorite, for the same reasons as their hand creams LOL!

Awakening Bath Fizzer

My mother also got me those goodies from the Boxing Day sale at Wal-Mart:

Allan Holiday Collection Candy Canes (Gingerbread, Butterscotch, Cappuccino & French Vanilla) and Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape (Awesome Original & Gushing Grape): I'm not a fan of candy but my mother knows I love every flavors of candy cane except the original. And the Hibba Bubba Bubble Tape reminds me of my childhood! This is the kind of bubble gum you just want to swallow because it tastes soooo good!

Bioré Skin Preservation Even Smoother Microderm Exfoliator: This was on sale so my mother decided to give it a try. It was 2 for 1 or something like this.

Gingerbread Scented Soap: As if I didn't received tons of soaps this Christmas LOL! I used to be a shower gel kind of girl, but LUSH made me love solid soaps! This one really smells of gingerbread =D

We also visited my grand-parents in Quebec for New Year's Eve, and they got us some presents:

Matching watches for my boyfriend and me: That's so cool because I wanted a watch for some times now but didn't want to "waste" money to buy one... but of course, I broke mine the day after x=

Magnet bracelet: The black beads are actually magnets, so it's impossible to break or lose this bracelet by dropping it! It can also be worn as a  necklace (=

I wasn't expecting even more Chirtsmas presents! Wow, I'm so happy and thankful! =D

  10. That is soo cute that your mom wrote you that note and made you go on a hunt!! You got lots of good stuff! That box of candy canes in different flavors is making me a little hungry though!!

  11. Awww, your Mom is so nice to make a scavenger hunt for you with more presents Gaby :) It reminded me of Dale when he did a scavenger hunt for me around our hotel room over the summer and bought me stuff. It's so fun and thoughtful at the same time!
I use to buy SpaResource products at Wal-mart and I think I've tried all the scents too - Vanilla and mango are nice! But in the past few years I switched over to The Body Shop. I love scented body butters like you :)
Ah I remember Hubba Bubba tape gum!! Do they still make it?! I use to love it in the grape flavour although I think if I tried it now I wouldn't like it since I only prefer mint gum now.
You don't like original flavour candy canes?! I LOVE the mint flavour candy canes. But I love mint in general hehe I've had my fair share of butterscotch candy canes though and they're super yummy :)
Gingerbread is such a nice scent....Matching watches with your boyfriend is a nice idea but that's too bad you broke the watch so quickly though ;(
Wow that's cool with the magnetic bracelet - it looks pretty! And yes, it's good so that it won't break :P
And that's too bad about your experience with the false lashes. If you read one of my posts in December 2009, I was complaining about how it took me over 15 minutes to do EACH eye when I was learning to put on false lashes. I was really frustrated but I just stuck to it and made sure I got them on despite wasting 30-40 minutes doing it and ruining several pairs of lashes. I guess I was so persistent because I knew how much of a difference false lashes make and I wanted to be good at it. And fair enough it did work out. And now (well, it's a year later) it only takes me a minute to do both eyes and that's because I have to wait 40 seconds for the glue to dry. Maybe give it another shot and maybe you'll start to get the hang of it ;)

  19. Your mum is so sweet :) Such nice presents. I'm useless with watches, I always break them, but the day after has to be a record! x

  20. @šɑf: I haven't tried the Bodycology body butter yet, as I have a few bottles of body lotions that I have already started using, so I want to use them up before opening another one. But I'll be sure to review it!

@Eugenia: I don't like the original flavour candy cane but these are yummy! I don't really like candy in general because I hate the sensation of having sugar stuck on my teeth x=

@Karen: Oooh The Body Shop is too expensive for my poor student budget, I guess I'll have to stick with SPAresource LOL. But I absolutely love the butters, for the price, they are amazing!

Yes I'm thinking about giving another try to the false lashes, but I absolutely hate the glue! It's black (?!?) and it's so hard to remove from my lashes after! I've been stuck with black glue all over my eyes all night... Sara tried them too, and the same happened to her... I guess we looked pretty funny with black glue all over our face LOL. But I know I won't be wearing them as I'm too lazy, so it's only for the sake of the review. My mother is supposed to try them, I can't wait to see what she thinks of them. Anyway, they won't be going to waste because I will give them to a friend who studies to become a makeup artist.

@Ahleessa : Eveyrbody seemed to be raving about those lipbalms when they first came out, but all I read was negative reviews )=

    @Isabel: Yes, she's precious (=

@Straight Up Glam: They are amazing fot the price! Thanks for the award, I'll be checking it out!

@petitechouxx: Oui, comme si j'en avais pas déjà eu assez ahah!

    @Hayley: Yes, I'm very thankful (=

@Gemx: I guess I wasn't used to wearing a watch, but still, I'm not prod of myself )=

  22. @Aysh: I'm also slowly becoming addicted to LUSH, and I'm not sure it's a good thing LOL! My father soap as of now is The Godmother as it reminds me of Snow Fairy, but I agree, Honey I Washed the Kids smells amazing, too!
