FOTD & OOTD | Yeah you've crossed the line, I've got a knife behind my back (just sayin')

Hi ladies! I recently attended a party and of course, I did not get to take proper pictures even though, for once, I was free all day and I took plenty of time to pamper myself... oh well, I was browsing through the pictures in my camera yesterday and I realized I did have a few pictures, although they might not be the best ones, but I figured out I had not posted a FOTD or OOTD in some times so I thought, why not?

Benefit The POREfessional | Marcelle BB Cream 'Light to Medium' | Clarins Poudre Multi-Eclat Mineral Loose Powder '01 Light'| theBalm Time Balm Concealer 'Light' | PUPA 4SUN Bronzing Powder SPF 15 | Annabelle Blossom Blush 'Peachy'

I was delighted when PUPA 4SUN Bronzing Powder landed on my doorsteps since I am a huge lover of bronzers, especially when they are as big as this one! This bronzer includes four shades to suit every skintone, but I prefer to simply swirl my brush on all of them at once and dust lightly in a '3' shape on my face (temples, cheekbones and jawline). Full review to come!

Dior Diorshow Extase Mascara 'Black' | Marcelle Velvety Eye Shadow + Primer 'Primer Rose' | theBalm Meet Matt(e) Eyeshadow Palette ('Matt Gallangher' and 'Matt McDonald') | MAC Eye Pencil - Ebony* | Wet n Wild Color Icon Liner Brow & Eye Pencil - Taupe | Revlon ColorBurts Lip Butter 'Cupcake'

Reviews of theBalm Mett Matt(e) Eyeshadow Palette kept popping on my blog reading list recently and they made me want to dig mine out of my stash and use it more. Since I kept the rest of my face neutral, I decided  would do a dark green smokey eye, and 'Matt McDonald' turned out to be perfect for this since it is the darkest green in my collection - it is almost black! Let me know if you are not sick of reviews of this palette, and I will add mine to the bunch.

leopard print tank - Ross | cardigan - San Francisco | Sqin jeans - H&Moversize glasses shape metal ring and multi-spike charm layered necklace - ROMWE | nail polish - Barry M Nail Paint 'Peach Melba'

I really did not have a specific outfit in mind but I knew I wanted to show off my leopard print tank, so I decided to keep the rest of my outfit pretty basic - I wore my favorite distressed jeans and a comfy cardi. I originally planned to wear my spike necklace from ROMWE but I decided it was too much with the animal prints, so I slipped on my current favorite ring and I was good to go!

  5. @La reine des neiges : Merci beaucoup! J'ai vraiment une relation amour-haine avec ce satané toupet ahah!

@Jennifer from Spiced Beauty : Thanks!

@Gaelle@LipstickErgoSum : Merci beaucoup, je ne peux jamais résister à du léopard!

@eight: Thanks! I can never resist a bit of leopard!

@Emilie: Thanks! Actually, Revlon has supposedly been added to PETA's list of companies that test on animals but I have not found more info about that, and I don't thrust everything from PETA. They have been cruelty-free for such a long time that I will continue to use their products until I find what happened. I emailed Dior and TheBalm to know their statut about that, and they both certified they did not test on animals. As for Benefit, they apply on their website that they do(if you are able to read between the lines), but I don't know for sure. You know what, I think I will add an * in my next posts just to be sure. Thanks for your comment!

@MaviDeniz: Thank you so much! Such a shame it never lasts ):

  6. So much mixed information, sometimes I don't know what is/isn't cruelty-free anymore. As far as I am aware from their statements, theBalm *is* cruelty-free and Dior/Revlon *aren't* cruelty-free...

Either way, you look awesome Gaby!

  8. @Mandy: I know right, it's crazy hard to get a straight answer, even when you take the time to email a company - most of the time, all they do is paste the info already accessible on their website! I emailed theBalm which were clear they were cruelty-free (although last time I checked, it was not stated on their wesbite) and here is Dior's answer:

"In 1989, the Perfumes & Cosmetics companies of LVMH Group stopped all animal testing for the products it markets. This was well before the official ban in the European Union in 2004. LVMH Group strongly believes that the end of animal testing benefits consumers, animals and the industry."

I don't know, is there something that is not said in this answer? I think it depends on the way you look at it...

As for Revlon, they have supposedly been added to PETA's list of companies that test on animals but I have not found more info about that, and I don't thrust everything from PETA. They have been cruelty-free for such a long time that I will continue to use their products until I find what happened.

@Emily Has Dimples: Aw thanks so much hun!
