Anastasia She Wears It Well Eye Shadow Palette

She Wears it Well is Anatasia’s new Hollywood glamour with modern moxie inspired mirrored palette of nine, pigment-rich matte, and shimmer shadows in nude and neutral shades that impart a sophisticated smolder to the eyes. Nude meets knockout with these nine pigment-rich, matte and shimmer shadows that give your eyes enough sophisticated smolder to woo them, every time. No matter how you wear them, you’re  sure to wear them well.

Anastasia She Wears it Well palette comes in a super luxurious deluxe packaging and features nine versatile, matte and shimmer high-pigment eye shadows that offer long-wearing, crease-free color for day and evening looks, as well as a deluxe mirrored compact with professional dual brush. This palette can be worn dry for a sheer wash of color of wet for an intensified finish! The matte shades have a velvety smooth finish for a crease-free eye while the shimmer shades are clinically proven to firm, hydrate, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkle.

I like that the shimmery shades are really shiny and metallic instead of being glittery, and they all go one really smoothly. I was actually surprised at how well the matte shades glided on the skin - they are mostly smooth and creamy, but I still struggled a bit with Onyx, which went on a bit patchy. I was also a tiny bit disappointed by the sheerness of Frosting and Almond, but this is nothing that can't be fixed with a primer.

L - R (direct sunlight): Trophy, Glow, Latte, Foxy, Sunset, Frosting, Onyx, Almond, Toffee

One thing that always bug me with most eyeshadow palette is that so-so shade that always come in a bigger quantity than the others - in She Wears it Well, I'm talking about Sunset, which is a lovely peachy/champagne highlight color - but don't you think it would be better if it was the same size as the other shades and another color was added in the palette instead? I'm starting to think I'm the only one who thinks like this...

The double-ended brush is definitely useable although it's surely not the best brush I have tried - I would have preferred it to be a bit softer - but still, it's a nice bonus, especially when you carry this palette in your handbag.

Overall, I really like this palette! It has a nice selection of neutral shades with different finishes, which allow for various different looks - I could not have asked for something better! I also like the nice compact size of the palette which is great for carrying around.

She Wears It Well retails for $34 and is available at Anastasia.net and Sephora.

  6. Thanks for this post, its really great to see the colours and quality in your trials. I'm never sure when i look at pictures on sellers sites they don't seem to take as much care as beauty bloggers like yourself.
    Thank you!
I've just ordered the palette from the Cult Beauty website! very excited to get it :)

  7. @Katerine Beaudoin: Moi aussi, c'est toujours ce que j'espère dans une palette! En plus, on ne parle pas de teintes mattes qui sont toutes sèches ou s'étendent en "mottons", non non!

@Venus Loves Virgo: I know right!

@LauraMck : A girl can never have too many neutral eyeshadow palettesm can she? (:

@Anonymous: Awww thank you for that awesome compliment, I'm so glad my review could help! Taking proper pictures of products and especially swatches is hard and can take a long time, but at least they reflect reality. I hope you will love this palette as much as I did!
