I'm not familiar with DuWop cosmetics as I never had the chance to try something from them, but I keep hearing lots of great things about their well-known Lip Venom.
Lip Venom was the very first lip plumper on the market, creating the lip plumping category for the beauty industry. The tingly gloss uses essential oils to enhance lips' natural color and shape by increasing circulation. The result: fuller bee stung lips.
The secret behind Lip Venom is a blend of essential oils, which include cinnamon, wintergreen, and ginger, that cause the blood to rush to the surface of the lips, flushing and swelling them slightly. The gloss also includes jojoba and avocado oil that moisturize and give the lips intense shine. You end up with a shiny, naturally rosy pout that cannot be achieved by wearing ordinary lip gloss.
Some celebrities - including Lindsay Lohan - are said to swear by it (anything but lip injection, right?).
Because, honestly, who wouldn't want to have those lips?

Before After
...If only a lip plumper is all it would take to look like her... *cough*
♥
And the winner of my Mary Kay Satin Lips Set giveaway is...
Congrats! I just emailed you!
Love those pictures of Lindsay!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner :) x
The Lindsay pictures made me burst out laughing, what a mess.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures of Lindsay had me laughing... But I've loved Lindsay since Mean Girls and I won't stop loving her! ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner!
I have seen the DuWop Venom many times while standing in line at Sephora always tempted to grab it to try, but never have yet. I haven't heard much about it either, but I think I may go try to sample it before purchasing it since my lips are very sensitive to alot of things like lippies and glosses drying them out.
ReplyDeleteIf your looking into it for yourself you shouldnt worry you have gorgeous features no need for fake plumping :)
So funny Gaby! I tried this & gave it away, I am not a plumper girl :)
ReplyDeleteHi Gaby! That Mary Kay Satin Lips giveaway product looked really good (and sounded that it lasted a long while) but too bad it was only for US residents. Maybe I'll have to pick one up if the reviews are good :)
ReplyDeleteI've never really looked into lip plumpers because I already have full lips which I actually love...and a bit of gloss is all I need at most. I do recall getting a free sample of some kind of lip plumper from Buxom gloss at Sephora once and I really didn't like it because it was tingly for so long (like 40 minutes of a tingly sensation!). You'll have to let us know if the DuWop Cosmetics work for you :)
Haha Lindsasy Lohan! J'aime bien les celebrites trashy! J'ai pas essaye le Lip Venom, mais si tu l'essaies, donnes-nous des nouvelles!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner!
ReplyDeleteI used to be in a phase when I was all about plumy lips, since mine are really weird looking; the top is pointy and kinda curls upwards and then the bottom one is bigger :/ lol. I even bought cinnamon leaf oil, I heard it was one of the main ingredients in lip plumpers and would add a drop to my lipglosses but it stinks like nobody's business!
Now I'm all about the lipliner, it's much easier and doesn't feel uncomfortable.
lol @ Lindsay. ALCO MESS!
xo
Well I read a lot about the DuWop Venom but finally I decided on Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme. It hurts, but it's worth it :) Although sometimes it really looks a bit too much.
ReplyDeleteBTW, love your blog!
@LilyLipstick : She's such a hot mess! She looks gorgeous with brown hair, though, much better than with the dirty blonde.
ReplyDelete@Kenzie : I know right xD
@Jennifer Leigh : Yes I've loved her in Mean Girl too, such a funny movie. She rocked in Freaky Friday, too!
@Deanna : It seems interesting because it is made of natural ingredients, and it's not full of chemical plumping things, which I have allergies too. Aww thanks for the compliment, but I'm just really curious about it!
@Tracy D : I'm not much of a plumper girl either as I'm pretty happy with my lips, but I'm just curious about this one as it's claimed to be made with natural plumping ingredients. The chemical plumpers I have tried in the past always irritated my lips )=
@Karen: I haven't used it myself but I've heard great things about it. But Mary Kay products are quite pricey for a student budget like mine, and the only product I have tried is a lipgloss, which I loved. I also have full lips, but I'm curious about this plumper as it's said to be made with natural plumping ingredients.
@Ms Bubu : Pauvre elle, elle fait pitié! Pourtant, je l'aimais bien dans Mean Girl et Freaky Friday.
@Anca : I don't use lipliner, but it's a good tip. Thanks for sharing!
@Taika : It hurts? Aww that means it's absolutely not for me LOL! Chemical lip plumpers tend to irritate my lips anyway z= I'm glad you like my blog! Thanks! =D
i hate megan btw ,, and she totally did her nose and lips ! haha
ReplyDeletebtw ,, how r u ,, havent seen u around in a while =D
and sorry cant help about the lip thingy didnt try it
@Princess Feef : Hi Feef! I lost your blog address as your news don't seem to appear in my feed, don't know why?! I hate her too, she can't act and she only does and say stupid things.
ReplyDeletewow, i always thought they had real lip injections. I think this stuff is definitely worth a try if those are actual results. I just wonder how long the plumping effect lasts for or if I'll have to re-apply every 20 min.
ReplyDeletebahah i'm sorry but Lindsay is such a mess! Those pictures are very funny.
ReplyDeleteIf that gloss really works it would be pretty amazing! Megan fox is ridiculously gorgeous!! I just don't understand how some people can just look perfect!
