I have too many bath products, I really need to use some up! This bath soak was part of a set of "no name" products that was on sale at Wal-Mart for Christmas last year. It doesn't really smell anything once poured in the bath, and I didn't notice any difference on my skin. Disappoing )=

☑ Bodycology Brown Sugar Vanilla Body Butter
Wow, I was so excited to try this when I first saw it at Wal-Mart, it looked yummy and everything, and it reminded me of another brand sold at Wal-Mart called SPAresource... but the scent makes me sick (it doesn't even smell like vanilla), and it's absolutely not moisturizing!

☑ Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara in Blackest Black (review)
I love this mascara, even though I don't see the promised false lash effect. It's lenghtening and volumizing and it's easily buildable, which is exactly what I look for in a mascara. It does flake a little through the day, which is annoying, but not enough to stop using it =P
Repurchase? yes, definitely!
Repurchase? yes, definitely!
☑ Algemarin Dry Shampoo (review)
This is the first dry shampoo I have ever used, and it does the job quite well. I hate the mess it does (you have to cover your shoulders with a towel if you don't want to end up with white powder all over you), but I would repurchase it anyway, but it's quite hard to find.
Repurchase? yes
yay for empties! always feels so good to know that you finished a product!
ReplyDeleteand i have the falsies in my drawer and i'm using it next! x
I need to try that mascara! I've always wondered about those bodycology/other Walmart bath products.. That's too bad the brown sugar vanilla body butter didn't work, it SOUNDS amazing though.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Gaby! I've always been curious about those Bodycology products, I think Shoppers carries them now as well.
ReplyDeleteFalsies mascara is one of my favs!!Love it and definitely as you repurchase it!!
ReplyDeleteGood job on your empties doll!!!
xxxx
ive been wanting to get the falsies mascara for a while now :) i love maybelline!!
ReplyDeleteYay! Don't you love that feeling when you use up something? =)
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog! You give your opinion from personal use, following :) http://ninyabella.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI liked "The Falsies" too, but in my opinion, I definitely prefer Lash Blast or Colossal. :)

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that I'm passing on the Versatile Blogger award to you! You can check out the details here Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xx
ReplyDeletei bought the same mascara and it turned out to be better than the dior one that I had previously!
ReplyDelete@christine: Yes, love that feeling of achievement LOL! I hope you will love The Falsies just as much as I do (=
ReplyDelete@Susalie : You should definitely try The Falsies =D I was also very excited to try some Bodycology products (especially body butters), but it's a shame they didn't work on me. I must say I have very dry and eczema-prone skin, though.
@Tracy D : I'm glad you like this post! Yes I think I have seen those Bodycology products at my local Shoppers last week. I thought they were exclusive to Wal-Mart, but oh well. I wouldn't be buying more of their products anyway.
@Blushingloves Irene Greece : Isn't is amazing? I wasn't expecting it to be so great at this price! it actually works better than my YSL Effet Faux Cils at $35!
@Oreleona: You should definitely get it, it's amazing =D
@~Lisa : Absolutely! It's such a nice feeling of achievement (=
@Ninya : I'm glad you like my blog, thanks for the follow =D
@Barbie : The Colossal didn't work really well for me, but I agree, Lash Blast is great!
@prettyinthedesert: Thanks for the award hun! ^^
@Nene: Really? It actually does a better job than the YSL Effets Faux Cils that I'm currently using... quite disappointing for $35!
Le mascara Falsies :D c'est trop mon mascara chouchou! Je rachète rarement 2 fois le même mascara parce que j'adore changer mais celui là je ne m'en passe plus :D
ReplyDeleteI really want to try a dry shampoo.
ReplyDelete@Jennifer Leigh : You should, it's amazing! Definitely a life saver (=
nice.. I take an unusually long time to finish bath products (except the usual like soap and shampoo of course). Nowadays, I don't feel like spending so much time in the bathroom anymore unless I'm in a hotel room, alone, with a bath tub and I know no one is waiting to use the bathroom lol
ReplyDelete@Isabel: Oh you're not the only one! It's very easy to use up samples, but it takes me forever to use up a standart size product (except maybe for body lotion, as I'm such a body lotion junkie!)
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of that Algemarin dry shampoo brand before. I'm just finishing up the Tresemme One which you reviewed before...and after that I'm just going to use baby powder instead. For me, it's pretty much the same thing but just more cost effective I guess?
ReplyDeleteI remember you raved about the Falsies mascara and I saw my younger sister had it back when I saw her in December. She loves it! So when I finish up my L'oreal Mascaras (I have back up ones!) I'll be getting this mascara too :)
@Karen: I never knew about this brand before my mother gave me this dry shampoo for Christmas. I got it when dry shampoos were starting to appear on the market and I couldn't find some anywhere, so I asked my mother to buy me some if she ever came across some. It's great, except for the gray roots it gives you if you have dark hair, like most white powder dry shampoos. I'm not sure if I will repurchase some dry shampoos before corn starch and baby powder works just a well for me, like you. Yes I absolutely love The Falsies! it's actually better than my YSL Volume Effets Faux Cils, which is still a little disappointing )=
