The claims:

How to use:
Apply your favourite Eyeshadow shades with Annabelle’s Makeup Pro Brushes. Use A-8 for precise definition, A-10 for an all-over application, A-21 to blend your mixed shades and the A-14 for a precise line at the root of the lashes.

Pros:
+ Helium and Toxic Garden are little shimmery
+ Helium doubles as highlighter
+ Nymphet and Pinked are pretty pigmented (especially when used wet)
+ easily removed with eye-makeup remover
+ come in a variety of textures and finishes

Cons:
- fades through the day
- Helium and Toxic Garden are not as pigmented as they look in the compact (even when used wet)
- the quad could benefit from a mirror

What I think:
I can't compare those new shades to the older ones because I have never tried them, but I can't say that I'm happy nor disappointed with them. I see nothing special in those shadows, but I find interesting that they are available in a variety of texture and finishes (Nymphet and Pinked are matte and Helium and Toxic Garden are more on the shimmery shades). Plus, those are not my everyday shades, except for Helium, that I could use as a highlighter. As for the quad, it's a great idea to let us creat our perfect palette, but I find that a mirror is lacking.

  1. Great review Gaby :) I don't think anyone is a fan of non-pigmented eye shadows - it's too bad that they fade throughout the day too :\

  3. wow the packaging is soo pretty. I dont mind sheer eyeshadows coz you can build up the colors or you can wet it to intensify the colors.

    nice colors too.

Too bad they fade and are loosely pigmented... it's not worth buying them then....
