Grandoe Gloves Will Keep You Warm This Winter!

'Leto' Sensor-Touch Gloves in Red

Winter can be depressing at times - awfully cold weather, snow storm, etc., but to brighten up this season, is there something better than cute and clever winter wear? I had the chance to enjoy two different pairs of gloves from Grandoe, each with its unique features, and I am pleased to introduce them to you today.

Last year, Ciré by Grandoe introduced one of their innovations - Sensor-Touch gloves designed to help people stay warm and stay connected. Sensor-Touch gloves are built to be touch screen compatible and fashionable. They will activate all touch screen devices including Smartphones, E-Readers, Tablets, MP3 Players, ATM’s, Fuel Pumps and GPS Devices.

Now I am sure you have all heard of these types of gloves before, but those from Grandoe are actually unique - the Sensor-Touch gloves have conductive material weaved throughout the glove for complete connectivity. The wearer can use any part of the glove to active a touch screen device - the sensor is actually part of the material, there is no annoying fabric attached to the finger, like other glove marketer.

I received the women’s style Leto in S/M ($40), which feature a Winterknit design that allows for a flexible and comfortable fit. Leto is available in Black, Grey and Red in S/M and L/XL.

Sensor Touch gloves are available in a variety of styles and fabrics, for both men and women. These gloves have kept me warm during my last year at uni when I was playing on my phone while waiting for the train!

Homespun Cozee Gloves in 'Snowflake'

Another innovation from Grandoe is their Homespun Cozee glove, which has an aloe treated snowfleece lining to soften your hands as you wear them. The lining (polyester) is also extended giving the glove a small cuff. Homespun Cozee has whipstitch detail giving the glove a more homemade appearance. Another great thing is that the palm is water resistant.

The Homespun Cozee is available in women's sizes S-XL and are knit with polyester yarns. If you want more adaptability in a glove, there is also the Homespun Flip Mitt ($35). This style has open ended fingers with a mitt covering that flips up or down. Flip it up for accessibility, flip it down for warmth. The Flip Mitt has a soft fleece lining, microfleece cuff and a pretty frosted faux fur trim on the edge of the mitt. This style is available in sizes S-L.

The Homespun gloves are available in four unique patterns: Moose Tracks, Snowflake, Rainbow and Lavender. The styling and features create a happy feeling while providing warmth and comfort. I received the Snowflake pattern in Medium which fits surprisingly well, while keeping my hands warm and soft!

  1. I seriously need something like this in my life. I hate always having to take my gloves off to you the phone. It's interesting how the conductive material is woven through the gloves, never heard of anything like that before.
