ATTITUDE - Carcinogen-Free & Eco-Friendly Body Care Products

Ladies, did you know that carcinogens are regularly found in shampoo, body wash, and many other personal care products? Disgusting, isn't it? Well, let me present you the new line of ATTITUDE personal care products, which was created with the objective of eliminating these carcinogenic contaminants from everyday products. ATTITUDE body care products are completely free of 1,4-dioxane and ethylene oxide, two known and proven carcinogens.

When a big and super heavy box landed on my door step shortly after I was contacted by ATTITUDE, I rushed to open it and I was delighted to find tons of products carefully nested in it! I seriously did not know where to begin, and as I'm typing this post, I still haven't had the time to try all of those wonderful products, but from the ones I did play with, I can certify that they are great!

The Revival Body Wash smells really fresh and uplifting - just like its name - and it does lather well without leaving my skin dry or irritated after use, thanks to its natural ingredients. I also like how I don't need tons of product in order to produce a nice foam.

In the summer, I'm all for a light yet moisturizing body lotion, and the Skin Relief & Relaxing Body Lotion is just that! It is lightweight altough I have to be careful not to apply too much product because it tends to takes some time to be absorbed into the skin. It doesn't seem to be completely able to calm my itchy skin - damn you, eczema! - and my skin doesn't stay moisturized for long, but still, I guess I can do with it in the warmer months. It has a pleasant relaxing fresh scent though!

To be honest, I'm not a fan of 2 in 1 products because I just think it's weird to wash my hair with a product that can double up as a body wash... so I gave the Daily Moisturizer 2 in 1 Shampoo & Body Wash to my boyfriend. It has a unisex clean scent so guys won't complain - my boyfriend enjoyed the scent, and he really smelled great after his shower! - but I hate how it badly stung my eczema patches when I tried it - this is always a red flag for me.

I do still prefer body wash over a plain old bar of soap, but I'm always happy to try new products so I was eager to try the Soothing Body & Face Bar on my face... but I'm sad to report that it's nothing but "soothing" as it left my already dry skin feeling tight. It's great as a body soap though, as it lathers easily.

The product I was the most excited to try is the Source Deodorant as I'm still on the hunt of the perfect cruelty-free deodorant, but I can't say I was really impressed with it. Yes, it smells amazingly fresh and glides on clear, but it tends to be weirdly sticky if I don't apply it before going to bed and try to go out instead... it just seems to vanish and leave me completely unprotected! If I do apply it before bed and I don't have much of a big day the day after, Source will do its job, but if I get sweaty, sadly, I can't count on it.

ATTITUDE personal care products range from $6.99 to $9.99 and are available in Canada, US, UK and more - check out their store locator! ATTITUDE also offers household and baby products

  1. These sound lovely! I will need to look for them. I love natural body products the best-my skin doesn't itch like it used to before I started using natural products!
