Brighten up dark winter days
Fans of Saint Nick don't need to impatiently wait out the days at LUSH. Our Satsumo Santa Bath Bomb has refreshing mandarin and bergamot oils to make the dark days seem brighter and orange blossom absolute to send your mind off to warmer lands.
I let it fizz for around 20 seconds...
Look at what's left after only 20 seconds of fizzing. Impressive!
As soon as I entered the bath, I instantly felt my skin being smooth and moisturized. It was amazingly silky! After the bath, I could really feel my skin being nourished, and I couldn't believe that the dry patches of skin I had on my elbows were almost all gone - and that's not a light statement, having struggled with eczema almost all my life.
The only downside is that the delicious fruity and fresh scent is very subtle and wasn't strong enough to linger in the bathroom or on my skin after the bath, but I'm used to such disappointment with bath products in general.
Satsumo Santa is only available during Christmas season at LUSH stores and LUSH.com for $4.95 for 180g. In my opinion, this is pretty pricey for a bath bomb, but so are most LUSH products anyway. At least you can use it for a few baths.
Santa's so cute. :P Have't tried any of their bath bombs but I love their Honey I Washed the Kids soap. :P
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to lush in ages, I'm out of touch with what they have! I do like their bubble bars though there the best :)

I love LUSH but I'm often scared away by the prices... but every girl deserves a bath bomb now and again!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried Lush Bath Bombs. I think it's because I am more of a shower girl, LOL!.
ReplyDeleteThey look heavenly, though!
Watching it looks fun! I can't wait to try it. Haven't taken a nice bath in so long..
ReplyDeleteHow do you store the bath bomb after you use it?
I'm obsessed with lush bath bombs and bubble bars! They're amazing!
ReplyDelete@mandy : I just put it back in the LUSH bag it came with after it has dried up a little, but if you don't want to deal with the mess I guess you could simply store it in an empty container or a Ziploc bag?
ReplyDeleteI got one of these at xmas and thought it was lovely. I'm a big LUSH fan xx
ReplyDeleteI love Lush bath bombs (dragon's egg is my fave) and bubble bars (the comforter bad is my fave).. they're some of the most awesome bath products I've ever used. The price doesn't bother me because they can be used multiple times.. I got 4 uses out of my last bubble bar and broke my last bath bomb in half for two uses. In my mind the math kind of works out (or at least that's what I tell myself) lol.
ReplyDeleteSNATA?!?!? Gabby are you crazy, it's not Christmas!!!
ReplyDeletehahah, jj, that Santa bomb looks so cute and it must have smelled so good too =)
I love lush bath bombs!! They are always so nice and smell soooooo good :) :) that one is massive!! I actually try toget. A couple uses out of mine as well, they fizz up so fast it sucks =\
ReplyDeleteohhh I love Lush!
ReplyDeleteLush bathbombs are the BEST
ReplyDeleteahh that is so cute :) I've never had good luck w/ lush products, but I haven't given the bath bombs a try yet..
ReplyDeletei have tried lush bath bombs! and i'm loving 'em all.. my baby loves it too! =) but here in my country soaps and bath bombs from lush are quite pricey.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I love all of Lush's fancy bath products, but my favorites are the crumbly bubble bath bars. They make my skin so soft! However, I haven't lived anywhere with a bath tub in 7 months... so sad!
