Guest Post: How To Get Glowing Skin

This post was written by Aleya Bamdad who gives beauty tips for women on her women’s interest site, Spontaneous Chick.

Looking in the mirror and seeing glowing skin can make you feel beautiful and confident. For those of you whos skin needs a little extra loving care, here are some tips on how to get glowing skin in a fast and effective way.

Cleanse Properly- Make sure that you wash your face with a gentle cleanser every morning to remove any makeup residue or traces of dirt. Be sure to choose a cleanser that’s right for your skin type so that the cleanser will work with your skin properly. For example, if you use a cleanser for dry skin and you actually have oily skin your condition may very well get worse.

Use Sunscreen- Not just on your face, but on your lips as well so that you protect your skin from burning and damage.

Use Moisturizer- Just like your cleanser, the moisturizer that you use should be right for your skin type. Be sure to apply moisturizer over your sunscreen every single day. You can use a lighter moisturizer during the summer.

Remove Your Makeup- Every night before you go to bed you should remove every trace of makeup from your skin so that it can breathe properly.

Use Toner- You can use toner in the afternoon if you like, but for best results use it at night before you go to bed. This will remove a lot of the pollutants that you come across every day.

Exfoliate- Once a week use an exfoliator to get rid of all of the dead skin cells that has been building up and making your complexion look dull.

Monitor Your Makeup- If you have clear skin, there’s no need to use every kind of makeup from foundation to concealers. Simply use your sunscreen and moisturizer and your good to go.

Drink Water- You should drink at least eight glasses of water every day and even more when the weather is hot or after exercising. Water is essential in getting all of the nutrients around your body and getting rid of waste.

Eat Right- While fried or fatty foods may be calling your name, it’s the fresh fruits, vegetables, yogurt and fish that will really make your skin look healthy.

Exercise- Sweat will get rid of the toxins that are in your body so your skin will look better naturally.
If you follow these tips, you’ll be on your way to looking and feeling great in your own skin in no time.

That's a neat guest post Gaby. I use toner (not everyday though - just when I remember to LOL) but I didn't know it was for removing pollutants from skin. I always thought it was for moisturizing before a serum for some reason.
I hope you're having an awesome time in Wildwood Gaby! Looking forward to seeing your pictures and I remember you trip to Wildwood from last year :)
