September empties

☑ OLAY Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

Isn't this supposed to be OLAY miracle face cream? I do really like the texture, but with so little product, I can't really tell you more about it. I didn't feel especially moisturizing, but as I said, I didn't have enough product to test it long enough.

Repurchase? no

What I'm currently using to replace it: Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Serum, Cellnique Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion and Juara Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer

☑ Lancôme Rénergie Microlift Eye R.A.R.E Superior Lifting Eye Cream (sample size 4g)

It's a little hard for me to describe an eye cream as I'm only in my 20s, as I don't think I have any wrinkles or lines yet. Anyway, I liked that the texture was thick and creamy, but it might be too heavy for some.

Repurchase? no, it's too expensive!

What I'm currently using to replace it: Burt's Bees Radiance Eye Cream with royal jelly

☑ Cranberry & Pear Body Soufflé

I got this at Wal-Mart around Christmas time when they have all sort of packages full of cheap products on sale. Well I was happily surprised by this product! I always prefer a thicker lotion for my body, and I wasn't expecting a lot from this one as it was so cheap and it doesn't even have a brand on the label LOL. But it was so thick, rich and creamy... and the scent was yummy!

Repurchase? yes, if I can find it again next Christmas xD

What I'm currently using to replace it: Bella Spa by Ivy Castle Luxury Body Butter Coca Butter

☑ SPAresource Moisturize Foot Cream (sample size 4mL)

So far, I think I've only tried body butters and lotions from SPAresource, but I really love them. This brand offers amazing products at such a cheap price! I wasn't expecting too much from this foot cream, but it was incredibly creamy and moisturizing! And it has a fresh minty scent. Too bad the sample didn't even last a week )=

Repurchase? yes!

What I'm currently using to replace it: Alpen Secrets Tea Tree & Mint Foot & Leg Cooling Gel

☑ SPAresource Vanilla Grapefruit Body Lotion (sample size 4mL)

☑ SPAresource Vanilla Grapefruit Body Lotion (sample size 4mL)

☑ SPAresource Vanilla Grapefruit Body Lotion (sample size 4mL)

All of those creams smell yummy, and they were all really thick, altough I didn't really notice a difference between the lotions and the cream. I'm never disappointed by SPAresource products! These samples barely lasted two days though )=

Repurchase? yes!

What I'm currently using to replace it: Bella Spa by Ivy Castle Luxury Body Butter Coca Butter

☑ Bioré 30 Daily Cleansing Cloths

My mother gave me this pack of wipes as they were all dried out, and she didn't use them anymore. I figured out it would be a waste to throw them away, so I used them with water in the morning.

Repurchase? no, as I'm not a fan of cleansing cloths

What I'm currently using to replace it: Equate Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes (60 towelettes)

☑ Pantene Color Preserve Volume Hair Solutions Conditioner (50 mL)

Besides that it smells yummy (reminds me of apple), this conditioner didn't do anything special for my hair. I absolutely did not noticed volume or color protection.

Repurchase? no

What I'm currently using to replace it: John Frieda Root Awakening Nourishing Moisture Conditioner

☑ Sally Hansen Ultimate Shield Fortifying Base & Top Coat

At first, I was absolutely in love with this product. It would make my cheap drugstore nail polishes last for a week without a single chip! But now that it's almost used up, it's all goopy and thick. It's totally useless now )=

Repurchase? no

What I'm currently using to replace it: Sally Hansen Mega Shine Extended Wear Top Coat

☑ Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Serum

This is not completely used up but it has started smelling like rotten eggs... ugh x=

Repurchase? no, it's too expensive

What I'm currently using to replace it: -

  2. @LilyLipstick : I personally don't use nail treatment but I do love their nail polishes! So great quality for a super cheap price. But I'm a little bit disappointed by the shelf life of this base & top coat -_-

  3. You can always use a nail polish thinner to help with the goopy/ thick texture, then it's as good as new. Almost all top coats are like that, even the famous Seche Vite :)

  4. @Halifax: Never heard about a nail polish thinner before?!? 0_o

  5. Wow, you really mean "empties"! Great job! I hate when you run out of or hit pan on something that was too expensive to justify buying again.

  6. @Steph: Yes I do LOL. I really want to use most of my stuff before buying new products.

  7. Sally's Beauty Supply sells the thinner quite cheap but I don't think you have Sally's where you live. The more expensive version would be Seche Restore, sometimes shows up at Winners. Maybe you can check any nail/ beauty supply stores or ask nail salons

  8. i hate body lotions too. I love and use body butters instead. they're dreamy :D
and i've never used a product so much I completely finish everything in the recipient. I usuall get bored of stuff so quickly or find they suck and stop using them. I have to throw them once they start smelling or they expire. :))

  9. @Halifax: Thank you!! =D

@birminghamlady: I totally agree! And I don't know, I feel like they are way more moisturizing than body lotions. Aww I hate having to throw away stuff, that's why I use every last bit, and if I don't like it, I give it to a friend (=

  12. @Ria: Yes it is! But I really have no idea where you can get it, it's not even available outside of Christmas time at my local Wal-Mart. I'm hoping to get my hands on it this Christmas =P

  14. @Donna ♥ Baby : The one from Lancôme is pretty thick, which I peronaly liked, but if your eyes are dry, it should do the trick!

@The Girlie Blog: Not yet, I have to use some more stuff before buying other things =P

  15. i agree with all the small samples! most of the time they are just WAY too little to really be able to "test" them out :(

  18. Yay~ You sure finished quite a number of things hahaha I didn't know body butter is better than body lotion. Must try that! My body lotion is running out

  19. I use to buy body lotions but now I prefer body butters! x

  20. @jenny: Yes that's sad but I guess it's better than nothing! At least if you don't like it you don't throw a lot of product away.

@Ahleess: Well it's been pretty easy as I have mostly used up samples =P

@ShaGlam: Well I have reviewed some Cellnique products in the past, I will send you the link once I get home (I'm on my phone)

@Isabel: Well it's my personal taste, but there's lots of good body lotions out there.

@ohmrn: Like you, when I started using body moisturizers, I first used lotions but when I discovered butters, I never came back!
