Mail!

I think that nothing starts the day as well as waking up to a package waiting for you in the mailbox, don't you agree? This morning, it was from Isabel over at Groupe Marcelle:

She sent me Annabelle Zebra Bronzing Powder in Haute Gold and and Annabelle A-13 Powder Brush.

This bronzer was LE in 2008 and 2009, but will be available all year round starting July 2010. I'm not sure but I think I saw it at one of their warehouse sale, but I didn't pick it up because I was afraid it would be too shimmery. I couldn't get a nice picture of a swatch for now, but I will show you some when I will do a review.

All of Annabelle brushes are high quality and super soft, and this one is no exception! The A-13 Powder Brush is made entirely of natural, premium quality high goat hair. I'm happy because I needed a bigger face brush, and this one is perfect!

Last week, I also received a little something by mail:

It's a sample of  Vaseline Sheer Infusion Botanical Body Lotion and a $2 off coupon on any Sheer Infusion lotion. I'm not sure I would have bought this lotion since I don't really believe the hype, but I'm happy I get to try a sample.

It's my doggie's birthday today! He is now 11 years old! Time is passing by too fast...

Happy birthday Balou

  3. Awww, you'll have to give Balou a big hug for me :)
Gaby you're so lucky to get nice products from Annabelle. The brush looks like good quality. I know goat hair can be rough - that Bare Escentuals kabuki brush is terrible and it's made of goat hair. But this Annabelle one looks very soft and much more affordable!
The bronzer looks very pretty in the packaging. I guess if it's too shimmery, you could use it as a blush/highlighter on your cheeks in one? ;)

  7. Hi again Gaby :)
That's so funny about your lobster story. You remind me of my friend Miranda a bit - she wouldn't eat a lobster. Actually she's more picky though I think because she won't eat anything that looks like an animal - that's how she says it! I'm a little bit picky about holding the lobster's head when I'm eating it...scares me a little bit too LOL
I know I'm actually surprised the shirt fits really good too :) I agree with you that most athletic shirts are made to fit pretty loose and big.
That's too bad you & your bf argue when you're drunk. At least it's fine the next day though. I use to argue with my boyfriend a lot when I first started dating him - I was very demanding and insecure that time. But he never argued back - he just walks away. It's like me yelling at a wall. So we haven't argued in a long time now and I'm learning to be more patient and understanding I guess?
Oh, it does takes a bit of practice to walk in higher shoes. It's pretty easy and I think you can do it no problem :)
Seems like we have similar weather - it's getting warmer tomorrow for us. Yay! I'm happy to see the leggings you bought are being put to good use ;)
