Callahan Girl's T Shirt from Crazy Dog T-Shirts: I love their shirts, they are super soft and they fit perfectly!
Peta2 "Free For All" Purple Logo T-Shirt: Yes, another Peta2 shirt! I love the bold letters on this one, and it's purple (=
Pureology SuperSmooth Shampoo and Conditioner samples: I got these samples from their Facebook page but the offer isn't available anymore.
Neotoric Diabetic Oxygenated Advanced Healing Cream: This cream is supposed to be an exceptional intensive treatment for chronic dry, cracked, damaged, slow healing skin. It's said to be great for hands and feet, and I'm curious to see if it would help my eczema.

I would like to know you honest opinion on my Mail of the Week posts.
When I first started doing these posts, it was to summarize the interesting things I got in the mails like freebies I could share with you, magazines, and products I would be reviewing in upcoming posts. I chose to show you everything in a single post instead of bothering you with many "Look what I got in the mail!" posts throughout the week.
Personally, my favorite kind of posts to read are hauls, because it's always interesting to see what other bloggers are gettingg and how they like it. I think of my mail posts as haul posts, as it gives you an idea of my upcoming posts (I presonally think it's more interesting than writing a list of posts so come).
My Mail of the Week posts seem to be one of the most popular features on my blog and I never got a single negative comment about them, but I'm still worrying that some of you may find it pointless or think I'm bragging (especially about products I receive to review).
What do you think? Should I continue doing Mail of the Week posts?
Feel free to contact me by email with any comment or suggestion, your feedback is very important to me!

Hi Gaby! I love your mail posts because I like to see peoples hauls. When I do my haul posts, I don't think of it as bragging, but just sharing.
ReplyDeleteKisses, Melanie
Thanks girls, you are awesome, I truly appreciate your feedback!

Hi Gaby! I LOVE your mail of the week posts. Honestly, I (nor you) should give a damn what other people think. Neither of us are bragging through our blogs and I guess some group of people might feel that way - but for that group of people they should just stop reading certain blogs that they feel that way about. I learn a lot from your mail of the week posts or haul posts....I learn about new products that I might like, things that are out on the market etc. I don't look at things in terms of bragging or with jealousy. If I ever felt negative about something I was reading on my leisure time, I would stop reading it and I think other people should do the same too. So yeah, definitely keep up with your blogging - I love your variety of posts!
ReplyDeleteHow is your eczema coming along? I think you bought the Aveeno Eczema Care cream right? Or was it the Cetaphil Restoraderm...? Did it work for you? My eczema is healing really well and I've really made an effort to use the Aveeno Eczema Care wash for my hands whenever possible and I always use the Aveeno Care Cream or Cetaphil Restoraderm as handcream.
I love how you're a strong supporter of Peta. That's a very nice tee :) I love large bold prints on my tees
I haven't tried any Argan oil hair products so I look forward to reading your review on this BE Beverly Hills one
Thank you so much for sharing your opinion girls! I will definitely keep doing these posts (=
ReplyDelete@graci3 : I've done freebies posts in the past but I come across so many in a week so I don't want to fill my blog with freebies and samples offers. Maybe I should find a way to post summary posts of freebies and samples? Thanks for the suggestion x
@Kenzie: Me too LOL! That's insane how so many women actually look like him xD
@Wendy : Oh really? You can get this shirt for $14.99 here if you are interested: http://www.crazydogtshirts.com/servlet/the-1659/tommy-boy-shirt%2C-callahan/Detail It's really soft and comfortable (=
@Karen Law : Hi Karen! Well I've never been really worrying, but I just like to get some feedback and when my boyfriuend recently hinted that my Mail of the Week posts could be perceived as bragging by some, I just thought I would ask my readers' opinion. I'm glad you like those posts and even learn from them!
As for my eczema, I don't really know what to say. It does flare up occasionally when I'm stressed out because of Uni, and I get red and itchy patches on the inside of my elbows and my knees, sometimes on a wrist, and lately I've been getting eczema on my left arm and it itched soooo bad! And my right hand never seems to completely heal. I've been trialing a lot of creams and lotions recently, especially that one I got last week designed for diabetic sufferers that's supposed to be great for dry and itchy skin. I remember I told you I was going to try Cetaphil Eczema Care when I got a $5.00 off coupon, but I never found it in stores, like I never found Aveeno Eczema Care either! I was tempted to try Cetaphil Restoraderm but it's a little too pricey for me, and the $5.00 off coupon can't be applied to this range x= So for now I'm using tons of steroids creams. The strongest one (and the only one that works for me) has discolored my skin on my left arm a little but I don't really care, as long as the eczema goes away. I make sure to always coat my hans in han cream and my whole body too, even more than twice a day. But when it itches, I can't help but scratch... it drives me crazy!!! The reason why I'm sceptical about those eczema creams is that I say to myself that if even steroid creams can't completely get rid of eczema, I don't see why drugstore creams would work. I know it has worked for you but I remember how the Skin MD Shielding Lotion didn't work for you but worked great on me.
Does your eczema itches a lot too? I use wet compresses on dry and itchy spots and it prevents me from scratching myself, but when I'm at school or out, it's not always possible. I hate that!
Hey Gaby! I've successfully sent your address to BH Cosmetics. Sorry for all the trouble because that was a lot more work than it should have been. haha.
ReplyDeleteI hope they ship it out soon for another mail of the week post. XD They took a while to ship mine out, but hopefully this one will be faster. Rest assured, it'll get to you safely!
J'aime tellement ça tes mails of the week! :) comme tous tes articles! j'aimerais donc ça avoir des belles choses comme ça dans ma boîte à mâle, ahah! ahhhh là là, vivement le français! -__- AHAH
