Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Repair Treatment + GIVEAWAY

Since I currently can't use any skincare or makeup products because of topical steroid withdrawal, I try my best to pamper my hair instead, and I am a huge fan of leave-in treatment - it saved my hair from years of damage. For about a year, I have been really trying to grow it out - I know, I always say that and I always end up cutting it, but this time, I really want to stick with my resolution! It is almost at the length it was in December 2012, when I decided to chop it off myself, and I really want to grow it even more, so I am doing lots of treatment masks and I use leave-in treatments daily.

Made with 100% pure Argan oil, Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil is a leave-in treatment that gently smooths the cuticles and helps fortify hair that is prone to breaking and split ends. This oil works by gently smoothing the hair and forming a protective mist on surface, against heat damage. It also reduces friction from brushing and helps prevent further damage.

I have found the texture of this product to be less runny and oily than most hair oils I have tried. Since it is thicker, it seems to coat and penetrate hair better - not just sit there - without weighting my hair down or making it greasy. If I ever happen to apply too much product and my hair does get greasy, it will eventually dry to smooth and silky hair. I have used other oils that leave my hair shinier than this, although I do notice the added shine.

before and after treatment application

I must say that as much as I like the product, I absolutely hate the packaging. It comes in a dark amber glass bottle, which looks gorgeous on my vanity, and the dispenser is a dropper, which looks convenient at first - but it's really not. The oil keep running down the dropper even if I don't press it to dispense product, and another thing is that the neck of the bottle seems a bit too small for the size of the dropper - when I take the dispenser out or when I put it back in, it seems there is always a glop of oil dripping on the outside of the neck and on the bottle, which makes a mess. Maybe this is due to the oil being on the thick side?

Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil can be used on damp or dry hair, but also to enhance shine, elasticity and depth to color during coloring process: before applying color, prepare hair by applying approximately 5 ml of the treatment directly on hair, and gently massage through to enhance the hair's ability to absorb color. Add 4 to 5 ml of the oil to the color mix and continue the process as usual. This product can be used alone but for best results, it is recommended to use the complete Pro Naturals hair Repair System.

Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil is available for $59.99 for 50mL on Pro Naturals and authorized online retailers. Also check out their Facebook page!

Pro Naturals also wanted to give the chance to one of Gaby's Beauty Blog's reader to try their Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Repair Treatment! Good luck!

  1. Your hair looks so long, hair envy here! I didn't know it could help to absorb colour!

  2. The formula of this sounds lovely! I really little thicker and creamier formulas when it comes to hair treatments ;) It's a shame about the packaging though!
