Since I was really happy with my first Memebox (Memebox Whole Grain Box), I was very excited to be sent Memebox Cacao Box this time! I swear that even before opening the box, I could smell chocolate! Memebox Cacao is one of Memebox Special Editions which curated for special themes with best K-beatuy items. With its high antioxidant content, raw cacao is guaranteed to make your skin appear dramatically healthier as it locks in nutrients and collagen within the skin, while also removing any excess oil and impurities from the pores.

When I opened the box, the first product that caught my attention was Etude House Milk Talk Body Wash Choco Milk (received full size, $7) - first because the bottle looks like chocolate milk, and also because I keep reading lots of great things about this brand on the blogosphere. This adorably packaged body wash is one of Etude House's favorites among its fans for the heavenly sweet, chocolatey fragrance, plus, it can be used as both a body wash and a bath milk. I have to be careful with fragranced soaps and products containing sulfates, but this body wash contains ammonium laureth sulfate, which is a milder surfacant than sodium laureth sulfate, so I thought I would give it a try as a bubble bath. I poured quite a bit of product in the bath and it created amazing bubbles that lasted all the time I was in the bath (about two hours)! Another plus is that this body wash does smell like chocolate milk, not overwly sweeted and not fake at all, and the scent does last in the bath! Best of all, my skin was not drier after the bath - it was actually soft! I must say I am very impressed with Milk Talk and I really want to try more Etude House products now!
I was happy to see that a lip scrub was included in this box since I have been struggling with super dry, chapped and cracked lips for the past month or so. This Pure Smile Choosy Chocolate Lip Scrub (received full size, $11) is packed with all sorts of natural goodies - sugar, caco extracts, bees wax, shea butter, jojoba oil, macadamia oil - for removing dead skins, deeply nourishing, and adding and extra luster to your dry, chapped lips.
While some cleansers with larger foam particles, excess vibration or friction can irritate the skin, Evas Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Magic Soap Coconut & Cacao (received full size, $18), infused with coconut and cacao, works gently yet thoroughly with micro foam particles that reach deeply into your pores, leaving your face refreshing clean and smooth. The texture of this product is very interesting, like a whipped butter, and it has a subtle and pleasant coconut smell.
I am really sad to not be able to use WondeRuci Cacao Brightening Mask (received full size, $38), but I know my mother will absolutely enjoy it. The real caco components from the mask cleanse away all dirt and impurities piled up in your pores and the various minerals included work to moisturize and brighten up your complexion. This mask looks, feels and smells exactly like hot fudge too!
Another face mask - that I can't use - was included in the Cacao Box, Pure Smile Essence Mask Chocolate Milk (received full size, $1), which is rich in milk protein nutrients, cacao extracts, vitamin E and collagen to hydrate and smooth out uneven skin texture.
The last product included in the Cacao Box was very intriguing to me - have you ever heard of chocolate pore strips before? Purederm Choco Cacao Nose Pore Strips (received full size, $6 for 6) is a one-step pore treatment specifically designed to unclog excess blackheads, whiteheads, dirt and oil piled up in your pores.
Overall, I must say I was pretty pleased with my second Memebox - a cacao themed box is a delicious idea! All of the products in this box were totally new to me and they were all full size, and another great thing with Memebox is that it is not a subscription service, which I have never been a fan of. The only negative things I would have to say is that all of the products included in this box, except one, are meant to be used on the face - it would have been nice to have a body moisturizer or a hair product included. Also, I was able to find the ingredients list of only two products, since almost everything is written in Korean.
Memebox is available for $23 + $6.99 shipping, and they ship to 45 countries. Memebox carries 4 main types of beauty boxes: Memebox, Memebox Special Editions, Superbox and Luckybox. In addition to the box series, they also carry full-size, Korean beauty products in the Memeshop.
