Island Soul Bikinis From SwimsuitsDirect.com

I recently had the chance to receive some swimsuits from SwimsuitsDirect.com and I am glad to have been able to enjoy them before the end of summer - after all, September is just around the corner! Whether you’re looking for a bikini, one piece, tankini, or any other style, there is nothing more personal than a woman's swimsuit, that’s why SwimsuitsDirect.com give women like you so many options like size, shape, fit, style and print for finding the perfect swimsuit. They have a huge selection of designer swimwear by Anne Cole, Seafolly, Becca, Leilani, Bikni Lab, Cole of California, Lucky Brand, Radio Fiji, It Figures and more.

As I browsed the website, a few pieces caught my interest, and then I realized they were all from the same brand, Island Soul, which I have never heard of before (apparently, they don't have a website?!). I like to have a choice of different styles in my bikini drawer - we are far from those days when all I was wearing was those unflattering triangle bikinis tops! - and I am bery happy with those I picked.

Support is always something I look for in a bikini - hence why I'm not a fan of those triangle cups - but I hate those push up tops with hard and uncomfortable moulded pads that give an unnatural result. From the picture of the model, it didn't seem to be the case with Desert Bloom Push Up (on sale $16.80), and I was happy when I tried it on! The inside cups are slightly moulded to provide a nice and natural support, but nothing over the top (the description on the website is not accurate because it says "moulded removable cups" but they are actually not removable). I didn't notice the frills on the cups when ordering this top - I'm not a fan usually - but they don't bother me as much as I thought they would.

I have only one halter bikini top in my wardrobe but it has grown to be a bit too small and unflattering and I really liked the colors of Set It Free Halter (on sale $16.80), which I think will look great against a tan! I like how the halter straps are bigger than usual bikini straps so they don't dig and irritate my neck, and this top does come with removable cups.

I have kept my favorite for last, Mystic Coast Bandeau (on sale $16.80)! A bandeau bikini top was definitely missing in my swimsuits drawer, although I was hesitant before ordering it because I always thought bandeau tops never really looked flattering on anyone. The colorful aztec pattern and the unique front design definitely sold me though! This top actually fits really well, thanks to the moulded removable cups and the side wires which help keeping it in place - it is so nice, I am even thinking of using it as a strapless bra! It also comes with a removable strap.
