In constant search for a new hairstyle many women go back in time to pick a vintage style that was worn by some of the most glamorous and fashionable women of all time. Many vintage hairstyles seen today are always in fashion, helping woman to look beautiful, glamorous, and very feminine. These styles are easy to implement and look extremely glamorous weather a girl is on the street or a walking down the red carpet.

With vintage hairstyles, it's all about the curls. Big, bold, and beautiful curls look perfect on short or long hair This was a fashionable choice for beautiful women in the 1940s and 1950s. These styles can be perfected using hot rollers or curlers. Curling short to medium length hair remindes us of one of the most beautiful actresses of all time, Marilyn Monroe. This style has been seen in recent years on some of Hollywood's hottest stars, including Katherine Heigl and singer Katy Perry. Curling the bangs with a large barrel curling iron is the perfect finishing touch for this type of style.

Dita Von Teese, one of the most glamorous and sexy women of this time, is known for wearing vintage style from "head to toes". This look is perfect for women with medium length hair or longer. Those who have short hair and want to try popular wavy style can add extensions to achieve this look. Hot rollers can also be used for waves, although some women opt to use clips to create gorgeous finger waves that were popular in the 1930s.

A vintage bob dates back to the roaring 1920s when it was seen on the most stylish high class women. Chin length hair rolled into perfect curls has a everlasting fashionable vintage look. Rocker and fashion icon Gwen Stefani is one of many celebs who enjoys wearing this old style. Adding a chic headband around the head accessorizes makes this style look even more vintage and authentic. Looser waves can be used for a more laid back look, while tight curls make this style look even more feminine.

For those who like to keep their locks straight, adding a bouffant to their style adds a perfect touch of retro chic. This style has been seen all over Hollywood worn in a variety of different ways. For example, singers Adele and Rihanna have both worn full bouffants with all of their hair pulled up and teased to make it sky high. Other celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, have shown off more subtle versions a la Brigette Bardot, with hair half pulled up and teased to have plenty of volume in the front. This style is excellent for long hair - the longer the better. Those who don't have long hair can fake this old style using hair extensions.

Vintage hairstyles are fabulous and flirty choice for any occasion. They are easy to style and gives you a touch of glamour and fashion. So, take your roller and make yourself look like a Marilyn Monroe. Something old, something new...
