So cute and thoughtful!

Large Angled Contour - F40 - The angled shape makes this brush ideal to apply blush or contour shades. Natural bristles.

Foundation - F60 - Can be used to apply liquid or cream foundation. It is also recommended to apply moisturizers and conceal large areas. Synthetic bristles.

Concealer - F70 - The rounded, tampered, flat shape makes this brush ideal to conceal the under eye area. It is also recommended for a precise application in small areas. Synthetic bristles.

Sigma Makeup offers a free travel size F50 with this kit!

Duo Fibre- F50 - Specially designed to generate an ‘airbrushed’ finish when used to apply liquid foundation. It can also be used to apply blush, highlight shades and loose pigments. Blend of synthetic and natural bristles.

What I think:

Overall, I couldn't be more happy with this kit. I'm not the type of girl who brings my makeup with me everywhere I go (and when I do, it's mascara and lipgloss, nothing else) but this travel kit will really come in handy for someone who is often on the road, on holidays, etc.

The size of the clutch is perfect, it's almost the size of my hand.

I like that each brush comes with its own little plastic "protector" to protect it from dust and to help it keep its shape after each wash.

The flap is also a nice touch as I can easily imagine my brushes getting damaged in my handbag filled with random and useless things.

To be honest, the "convenient pouch" is not really convenient as you can barely store more than one item - and I mean a really small item.

Here, I tried to store my Covergirl NatureLuxe Foundation and Annabelle Zebra Pressed Bronzing Powder:

I couldn't zip the pouch. A mascara, eyeliner or lipgloss would do but don't try to bring your whole makeup bag.

As for the brushes themselves, they are all really soft and I haven't experienced lots of shedding (almost none, in fact). I'm not really keen on the fact that most of these brushes are made of animal hair, even though Annie from Sigma told me that they make sure animals are not harmed during the harvesting of their coat.

Recommend? yes, absolutely!

  14. Hi Gaby! Great review of the Sigma Travel Kit. It really does look great for travelling and I love the zipper on the brush roll that it comes with - you could put a small bottle of brush cleaner in there which would probably come in handy during longer travels.
