FOTD: Annabelle Cosmetics Studio Pigment in Karma + Project "Pan them all!" update

This FOTD features the last of my Annabelle pigments: Annabelle Studio Pigments in Karma.

Face
Marcelle Colour Cube Bronzing Powder - Multi-bronze
mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush - After Glo

Eyes
Annabelle Cosmetics Studio Pigment - Karma
Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow Singles - Vanilla 10 (used as highlighter)
Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner - Onyx
Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express mascara - Glam Black

Lips
Avon Smooth Minerals Lipstick SPF 15 - Crystal Coral

So that's it for the Annabelle pigments. I still have to improve my application technique, but overall, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be at first xD At least I discovered that the Pigment Dust goes better on the eyelid while applied with a finger (I used my pinkie) while the Studio Pigments is easily applied with a brush (I used the Annabelle Makeup Pro Small Shader Brush A-8). Oh and the important thing while using pigment is to not swipe it accross your lids, as it will only causes the shadow to fall all over your face.

I still have to show you some looks with the Smudge Liners, but I'm not a huge fan of eyeliners (expect for black ones that I use on the inner rims of my eyes). I will try not to be too lazy on that one xD

On another note, here's some news about my Project "Pan them all!":
  • I used up my Avon Naturals Strawberry & Guava Moisturizing Body Yogurt about 2-3 weeks ago and I'll be reviewing it soon.
  • I used up my Avon Skin So Soft Hand Rescue Balm Soft & Sensual yesterday. I wanted to get the last bits so bad that I cut it in half... but it wasn't a good idea because it only caused the hand cream to dry after a few days -_- It was my favourite hand cream, but it has been discontinued... )= Anyway, do you still want me to write a review about it?
  • I used up my Maybelline New York The Colossal Volum' Express mascara this morning. Well I'm not sure I used the product completely, but I've been having issues with this mascara lately that only made me want to throw it in the garbage! Read on...
Some weeks ago, I was doing my makeup in the morning, and when I opened my Colossal Volum' Express mascara, and noticed something was wrong. Here's what it looked like:

Notice anything wrong? No? Then look closer:

The little plastic thing I call "product stopper" is stuck on the mascara wand! Here's what the mess looks like:

I tried to put the wand back in the tube to replace the "product stopper" several times, but it works only 1 out of 10 times, and I've been doing this for weeks now... so now my mascara is all dried up. Anyway, I got sick of this product. In the end, I had to apply several coats because it wasn't going anything for my lashes anymore -_- Read my complete review here.

Last, but not least, I wanted to thank everyone that left me kind comments about my FOTDs. I'm not used to do looks, but seeing your sweet comments make me want to do more. I'm happy that you like them!

  1. Yeah, it does the job I wanted. However I cant compare it to anything else, because it's my first dry shampoo. Mine costed about 8,30 USD. I don't know if it's pricey or not for a dry shampoo. Well, I'm happy I got it :)
    Take care sweety <3

  3. Great job on the pigments. I've not dared to purchase a pigment yet, it seems too hard!

  4. I see that you saved the best for last! Out of the 3 pigments you purchased, this one is my favorite on you! It's the perfect purple for your eyes and skintone! Your brave with loose pigments. I get impatient because i end up being messy with it. I guess its the pinky technique I gotta try. :)

  5. You should keep the looks coming!! :) The more you do makeup, the more you'll learn a good technique for applying.

Pretty look. Karma looks likes a nice color.

  6. Lovely! I really think purple looks amazing on eyes :)

I was wondering - have you ever tried nude lipstick, and what are your thoughts on it (and if so, what are the best brands?)

I'm keeping an eye on your blog!

  10. Hey Gaby! I love your FOTD :) Karma looks like such a pretty colour - purples are right up my alley.
I'll have to remember to try applying pigments with my finger if there's too much fallout with a brush - good tip :)
Too bad about your mascara. I don't recall ever having the product stopper get stuck - it's happened to me with certain cheaper lipglosses though although with lipgloss it's not as bad as having it with mascara.

  11. I love this look. I need to try a purple look. I feel like I can't pull it off though. hahaha!

And what in the world happened to your mascara? Thats pretty interesting. Looks like the wand melted or something. Weird.
